  1. From www.punknews.org: Greg Ginn never really went away, but it has become harder and harder to fathom why his greatest days remain so resolutely stuck in the distant past. Black Flag’s stock may be at an all-time high, with big-money offers coming from everyone like Pitchfork and Punk Fest to organizers at Lollapalooza. But wouldn’t it be just like Ginn to pooh-pooh any reunion talk with the disinterest of someone shooing a fly from the room? “We are in rehearsal right now” Though no timetable has been set, a Black Flag reunion is in the works with former-Pantera and current-Down frontman Phil Anselmo on the mike. Ginn elaborates further: “Phil’s been a fan for many years. He’s in training right now. He could do a six-week tour tomorrow.” Evidently, former vocalist Henry Rollins was never approached. In fact, Ginn is staying tight-lipped on the final line-up, only to say cryptically, “If some old geezers I once respected can tour the country making a living doing what I did back in ’82, maybe it’s time to set things right.” For his part, Anselmo has been reticent to comment about any involvement with Ginn’s plans, only to add, “I’ve had Black Flag records on my training table since I was a kid. It would be a total honor to front a powerhouse like the Flag.” A more formal announcement is expect by June, as Ginn coordinates what is surely to be the must-see concert event of the summer.
  2. Chris Musatto (Mashers / Repulsators) was in a serious car accident this summer. His medical bills are beyond his means, so his many friends are putting together a show at the Gasthaus in Elgin, IL on December 26th (more details at http://www.chrismusatto.com -with many great bands and some crucial reunions. If you are planning on attending the show, I will be holding a raffle to raise additional money. You must attend the show to buy raffle tickets of course, and the following Apocalypse Hoboken items will be part of the raffle: Test Pressings of: "Jerk Lessons" 10" "The Kingpin" 7" "Strikes Back" 7" "Monchhichi" 7" Oblivion / A.H. split 7" Plus: An original A.H. box set T-Shirts and an assortment of rare vinyl releases from local bands and other punk-type stuff from my personal collection. 4. No problem. $1500.00 and it's all yours. That's "friend pricing", bro.
  5. And "Daterape Nation" (like "Daydream Nation")
  6. don't forget your lz3 7" Some things you just can't get out of your system. The Apocalypse Hoboken "Easy Instructions" record was modelled on the Stones' "Exile on Main Street".
  7. Thanks. I do have another copy. I hope you received everything in good condition.
  8. I just contacted Sean Seeling (Tommyrot, Jerkwater, Apocalypse Hoboken) and he's going to look into what he still has. I have a Tommyrot cassette (remember those?), but he's probably got tons of stuff stashed away. Stay tuned.
  9. "The Inoculator" is pretty scarce. I guess there's songs on there that aren't available on CD. I'll keep you in mind, but I'm going to give this whole thing a few days before I let some things go. Also, I'd prefer PMs if we're actually talking prices. That way we don't have to have a private conversation in public.
  10. It has Traitors written in crooked, typed capital letters at the top and a drawing of a boy in a pool of blood with an axe. I believe he's cut off his own head. Songs: No Friends/Superhero Zero/Pathetic Sympathetic
  11. i'de love the ah 4cd set too, but its too rich for my blood. only one i've ever seen was on ebay and it was a 100BIN Just make an offer. I'm not interested in the absurdity of ebay pricing. Apocalypse Hoboken "Green Monster" 7" (our first 7", before Todd) A.H. "The Kingpin" 7" (or first 7" with Todd - yellow cover) A.H. "Daterape Nation" double 7" - 1 black, one red. A.H. "Monchichi" 7" with my ass on the cover. The Broadways - "We All Know You Can Do It" 7" Blue Meanies/MU330 split 7" Los Crudos "Las Injusticas Caen Como Pesadillas" 7" Jerkwater "Drown" 7" (Matt Skiba's first band) No Empathy "Ashland Ave." 7" Nostrilsaurus "Whooooa!!!" 7" Slapstick "Crooked" 7" Sludgeworth 7" (Roadkill Recs. #006) Smoking Popes "Inoculator" 7" Smoking Popes "Break Up" 7" Smoking Popes "2" 7" Traitors 7" (Johann's Face Recs. 031) Tricky Dick "We Need Direction" 7" Also Available: Blue Meanies "The Post Wave" picture disc F.Y.P/Propagandhi split 7" (Recess #19) Phleg Camp "Twilight Pink" 7" and the last remaining copy (like the last Wonka Golden Ticket) of the Apocalypse Hoboken 4 CD Box Set (only 250 made).
  12. I only have my own copy. As Justin said, you can contact him regarding payment. I lost some $$$ when a website company renewed my subscription without asking, and even though I complained to them and Paypal, I never got my money back. Long story short - I won't give access to my checking account to anyone. I should also add that I am perfectly aware that I could throw these records on ebay and clean up, but I feel there's a bit more integrity in dealing with people who seem to collect as a passion.
