  1. I've been recently combing my collection and downsizing the records that I've purchase but have never actually got around to playing.

So after a good decade of sitting around, I'm offering some of them up in lot sales.  I will not split them up at this time.

All records have been stored in a wooden cabinet in a smoke free home.

All records are Near Mint to Mint, as the only one that I remember playing is the AJJ Holiday Inn record.

Shipping by Media Mail is included. I will base Priority Shipping on package dimensions/buyer location if desired.  Please PM me if you would like to have Priority Shipping.

    AJJ Lot -$50

    Holiday In(n) Gainsville 12" (White /110)
Candy, Cigarettes, Capguns, Issue Problems, and Such 12" (Clear Green /234)

Gunshy Split 7" (First Press, Otter-Pop Blue /330)

The Chronicles of Sheriff Joe Arpaio 7" (Pink Vinyl, Orange Cover /300)

The Decemberists (Always The Bridesmaid) - $65
Vol. 1 Valerie Plame 12" (Red Translucent)
Vol. 2 Days Of Elaine 12" (Green Translucent)

Vol. 3 Record Year For Rainfall 12" (Blue Translucent)

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (Complete Square Dance) - $125

One Color AND One Square version of each record - 10 records total

  2. I couldn't get the "View Basket" link to work either. So...

Just go into the website, go to "Store" and click "View Basket" there.

I wish the bundle had the option of choosing one vinyl for a cheaper price but oh well. I'm satisfied with the bundle overall, although it's not my favorite AJJ material. I'm glad the "Issue Problems" songs were added.

  3. Someone recently mentioned on the boards that Interpunk has a few Fat City magazines with free 7" records. I order one of those and the new Mighty Mighty Bosstones album and now I have the same problem. Two out of the three items are listed as "On Order: In Stock in 3-6 Days." That was October 18. No effort in communication has been made since then.

I didn't expect these items to be in stock when I placed the order (even though they were listed as such). They should really take down the listing if it's no longer in print or available from the distributor. I'm thinking about canceling my order since it's not worth the one 7" that I added last minute.

Other than that, I've ordered from interpunk 18 times over the past 7 years and have had no problems. Yep, I counted.

  4. Also, I think the end of the Dark Knight is hinting at the return of Two-Face, as he is never actually declared dead or taken care of. We see the funeral and hear that "Harvey Dent is dead," but I took this as the character Harvey Dent is dead. Now we can see rise to Two-Face as a separate entity from Dent's previous life. Maybe this putting meaning into something that isn't actually in the film, but I wouldn't put that bit of clever foreshadowing past Chris Nolan.

In an interview Aaron Eckhart specifically said that Two-Face died from the fall, his neck broken. The script also reveals this. Two-Face isn't coming back.

    Probably.

  5. Alright, I tried out everything here I hadn't heard and loved pretty much all of it. Thanks for the recommendations guys. Keep'em comin' if you've got'em.

Also, I tried finding more songs by that Sycamore Smith guy but no dice. Absolutely nothing. If anyone owns the albums and wants to upload a favorite for me to try out or something, I'd be smitten.

Sycamore Smith is a local artist who presses all his own CDs. He has selections from his solo material and a handful of songs from his other band (The Muldoons) under the "sonks" section of his website.

  6. Harley Poe: B-Horror folk-punk (how appropriate for this time of year)

Mischief Brew: Superb musicianship and lyrics

Mutiny: Self described as "Folk punk for punk folk." from Australia!

The Currency: A few members of Mutiny

The Sways: Mighty talented band from the UK; slide guitar!

The Filthy Thieving Bastards: Made up of 3/5 members of the Swingin' Utters

This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb: Lots of neat vinyl from them

Evan Greer: Member of the Riotfolk collective; wonderful political songwriter

Sycamore Smith: One of the best lyricists I've heard; more folk than punk though

The Violent Femmes: Perhaps one of the founders of "folk punk"
