  2. Finally, you can save yourself 200 bucks on one of the best shoegaze LPs ( Number 2 after Loveless for me). Best part is, it is from the original analogue tape https://www.musicdirect.com/vinyl/The-Verve---A-Storm-in-Heaven-(Vinyl-LP)?utm_source=bronto&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Image+-+Verve&utm_content=08/04/2016&utm_campaign=musicdirect+soundbytes+issue+%23741_3+08-04-16&_bta_tid=38366575791054719999993287052145643479166072648956479797862809188435456
  3. Yeah, that's the point of RSD. Why would they sell it there.
  4. Still the best thing they put out, US folks jump on this http://store.clubac30.com/products/571602-pinkshinyultrablast-happy-songs-for-happy-zombies
  5. Kanine Records is putting this out for RSD. http://kaninerecords.com/product/skywave-killerrockandroll/ Also Kanine put out a great record from the band Young Prisms, In Between. It's a couple of years old but a great 'gaze record folks may have missed out on here and is still available too. They kind of have a Slowdive vibe to them. I love this song.
  6. I'm sure they did, and along with so much other like those Felt reissues and flying nun stuff, it got dropped.
  7. That's a great score. Good music is good music no matter what format this on. Loving this genre also means a lots of great albums from the late 90's to early 2000's are going to be CD only releases. Thankfully a few of the gems are getting the vinyl reissue. I can't believe how excited I am for the Skywave reissue. Claire records (which is still going and helped with the Airiel Winks & Kisses reissue) put originally Susurrate out in the US. Maybe we should be asking them? Who'd rather see a Susurrate & Starrgazer reissue?
  8. For fans of the more classic shoegaze sound, I just got the second LP from Italy's Rev Rev Rev. If you like the heavy stuff from MBV or bands like Bardo Pond, you like this. Right now, this is my favorite record of the year. 150 copies on "hazy-daze" duo-coloured vinyl https://revrevrev.bandcamp.com
  9. I just signed up to post in this thread. I've lurking on this thread for over a year. I love shoegazing, and I got to see the whole UK (MBV/Ride/Slowdive etc) movement rise and fall back when I was in college. I'm happy to see the whole present day revival. This is a weird batch to release for a Shoegaze Archive release. First, to me these are still more resent (I'd call 1989-93 the original Shoegaze years). These are much later. Also, Wyatt's idea of shoegaze is much different than (noise, wall of guitars, fuzz, psychedelic, pop song sensibilities). Calling February shoegaze is kinda of pushing it for me (They're from my city and I've had to sit through them open for other bands). I do like The Emerald Down but I'd call them Dream-pop and they're also later. Even the very short lived Captured Tracks stuck to the 89-93 time period. But still, bless Wyatt for the Secret Shine reissue. The past releases at least hit from the golden era (89-93) and there's still so much to reissue from that time. For example, the incredible The Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa - Susurrate that came out in '93 and is listed on discogs for $400 (I even think the CD goes for $$)
