Is that Stones one really worth that much money? Cause I have it.....
It doesn't have a name on it so I just marked it as rare promotional tracks on my deadformat trade list. So is it worth that much????

what's the 4 pack? white, yellow, pink, black?
i got mine on pink
No, there are only three colors. For some reason I ordered 4 of them, not sure why......
-
I finally got an email saying it shipped, I hope they saved a white copy for me cause I ordered a 4 pack beginning of last week
-
Since the white appears to be sold out, how 'bout Jake or Tre let us now the numbers for that color?
eh? eh?

Mick Jagger - Throwaway - 12"
The Rolling Stones - Dirty Work - 12"
United Nations - Never Mind The Bombings, Here's Your Six Figures - 7" [4 of them]

I am hoping to get my 3 pack soon, itching to know the pressing info.
-
First order I only bought one of the UN, second time I bought three. Hope I get all colors!
-
I am hoping I get pink, looks really good with the cover. I'll honestly be happy with which ever I get, really good looking release.
-
I wish I bought 3 of them with the chances of getting each color.
-
Well I would prefer a multi-colored one, preferably the first pressing
-
I would be.
Well that's the difference between you and me
-
If you don't mind me asking what are you doing w/these ?
Using them for their purpose in life. I'm not embarrassed to say that I simply want one.

I am looking to pay anywhere from around $6.50 to $15.00. It really depends on the condition of it. On EBAY it seems like the un-boxed ones go for around $6.50-$10.00 and the boxed ones I have seen go for as cheap as $10, but also some that were around the $20-$30 range under buy-it nows. I would like to get them relatively cheap though.

Yes, by Furbys I do mean the fuzzy 1990's interactive toy.
-
I forget who it was from, but on the inside packaging of a record I bought there was this awesome drawing with a sharpy of a giant squid with records all over it's tentacles.

I can be picky with The Melvins, a lot of their noise stuff isn't worth owning in my opinion. However I did purchase their Trilogy record set which anyone who collects Melvins stuff knows how expensive that thing is.
I'm working on a Boris collection too. Not variants or anything just one of everything. I gave up the color game a while ago. I need to take pictures of that soon.
Anyway, if you dont find that split or are looking for we are the lazer viking screened edition somewhere down the road hit me up. Depending on your timing I might be willing to let them go.
Sounds like a plan. Thanks again. Nice talking to you and good luck with your current and future collections!

It happens with everyone. There are a lot of bands I missed for whatever reason and then have to go back and try and get all their records. I got into the Melvins about 15 years later then I should have so that's breaking my wallet for sure.
Ouch! Good luck with that! An Albatross is pretty easy money wise. It's just hard to find them! The most I payed so far was $30 for the demo.

I'm going to have to check out their later records. I have eat lightning, we are the lazer viking, family album and Blessphemy. I'll be honest I havent really listened to family or blessphemy at all since I bought them. Ill give them a whirl. I love We are the lazer viking because of the screened LP I have. It looks so good.
I've only had a chance to see them live once. It was pretty nuts.
I regret that I am so young and have just learned about them in the past months. It stinks having to get everything after it's been released for a couple of years, makes things tough. I hope to see them live on their next tour. Edward [the singer] told me that they are working on an album right now, so I hope that means they will be touring again soon and having new releases.
-
no extra split. just my copy. There seems to have been 2 recently on ebay for cheap so I'm sure they'll show up again.
I love that you posted this. Makes me want to dig out my Lp's and listen to them. The first two were all I listened to when they came out.
Yeah, it's great stuff. They haven't really changed much. Their newest release is a change a bit though, really good change. The songs are longer and have more of a path to them, still very chaotic.
-
Ill check and see if I have an extra split. I had a few of them when I carried them in my distro but that was a while ago. I will shoot a PM if I find one.
Awesome, thanks for looking out!

My updated "An Albatross" collection. Still missing a few
awesome. I had the DVD but sold it a few months ago. You should be able to find the 7" split pretty easy still right? I know there were two different versions of the eat lightning cd as well.
I have actually had some trouble finding the split, EBAY hasn't turned up any yet. And yeah, I think there is a normal and enhanced version of the cd. I can get most of the cd versions pretty easy but I'm trying to get all the vinyl before I start going after them.

I had the same kinda problem. They set aside my order as well but I got it eventually around a month later. I was supposed to get The Family Album by "An Albatross" on white and grey but they sent my two of it on grey. I emailed Virgil but he never replied. Kinda disappointed in them.....

marccrotteau is a great seller. Very easy to work with and super fast shipping. Hope to deal with again in the future.

Got my 3 pack today, still waiting on my other one which I ordered separately before I ordered the 3 pack. I got 2 Pinks and a Yellow. I am hoping my other one coming is white. If not I'll be kinda angry cause I ordered these way before the white was sold out but they didn't ship them until the 6th when I had ordered them about a week before.
