We now have copies of this classic in! Clear Vinyl, and has been pressed using the original metalwork and artwork from the original We Bite pressing from 1986 - but is a brand new 2010 pressing! Fire records (who put out stuff by Pulp and Teenage Fabclub amongst others) owned Roughneck and own the rights to it - I've tried a couple of times to no avail to license it from them as part of our retro series on Boss Tuneage, only to be told they will be re-issuing on vinyl themselves at some point.. I wouldn't hold your breath though..

We're obviously just not hip enough with the kids! Ha Ha!!

Tell me about it! I can't believe it too.. i can only figure because it costs us so much to ship/post outside of the UK that the cost has put people off.. it costs us over £8.50 (roughly $13) for the stamp alone, let alone the mailer and stiffners.. we're doing it at 14.50GBP postpaid to the US now, which is cost price for the last copies .. we have 11 left here with us...

Red Lounge in Germany are doing the new Hard ons record on vinyl.. but not sure when it is coming out, or if it is! With Midway Still not sure we are actually going to be doing it on vinyl.. we got a lot of projects coming up (Geriatric Unit new LP, Spermbirds new LP/CD, Boss Tuneage 20th anniversary 4CD boxset) so it could be a long wait - if at all to be honest!

Heh, no sir :-) I'm going to have to look at our postage rates on multiple vinyl to Europe as it is a touch too much if folks want 3 or more LPs.. :-) Problem is a lot of the vinyl is gatefold sleeves so we have to i think bring in a different postage rates for those, just to compensate...

We always send out with two stiffners in the mailer - its why our postage costs are slightly higher, but i think its a small price to pay to try and protect the vinyl and sleeve... I guess though we don't make people aware of how we pack the records and then they just think our postage is a bit higher than other folks.. oh well...
