yeah i always wonder about that. whether its about preorder dates changing, preorders going up, venue changes for shows...general things that people have to know...sometimes if you don't post of a forum then you're in the dark.

my mom got me Murphy's Law's self titled record when i was maybe 14 or 15 when i used to just listen to her old records on her turntable. then about exactly a year ago i pre ordered the Hostage Calm full length because they're one of my favorite local bands and i thought it would be cool to have their record. then i started buying a few other local releases, and soon after i just started buying exclusively records.

i got a fairly standard thank you note but it was written on the back of a cut up gushers box.

I'm still waiting on the 180g black from the "box o' 10" that showed up.

same, i know it will show up but i'm just scared because i sold my clear copy knowing that i will soon have the black. just paranoid that i don't have a copy of the record at the moment haha.

this really isn't that confusing at all. can't you just assume that interpunk and other larger distributers (with the exception of hot topic who's getting the AFS white press /500, as stated in the first place) will get a piece of the large triple crown pressing? fuck it, just wait for the AFS press, it'll be so much better anyway.

that's all fine and dandy but when interpunk says they're getting black copies it throws a monkey wrench into everything.

i'm just guessing that a customer service person at interpunk doesn't really know what's up, so they told you black because that's normally the common color. that's what i'm gonna think until i see copies up in the interpunk store.
