I searched the forums, and noticed this hasn't been posted yet.

The band Barcelona is finally coming out with their next album later this year. They are completely independent now, and are trying (and succeeded thanks to kickstarter) to release their new album on their own.

They've already met their first goal, but are $5k $1k short of their 2nd.

There's only 5 days 1 day left.

I own the original green pressing and never knew until this thread that it was in high demand and going for such ridiculous prices on eBay.

$15 from a local Hot Topic back when I first started collecting. Hah.

Sell it now, and pick up the repress when it's released.

Otherwise the price of the green ones will just go down once this is released.

I guess $40 is better than $75 which is what they were going for at one time. I bought one of the white ones on the farewell tour and it was $25 at the show.

When the first press came out, they were going for $125+ on eBay.

If you ask me, based off this song (which I like), the album is starting to sound very promising.

I'm afraid you're looking to the wrong band for that expectation. I think they're still better than most, but they've peaked, IMO.

I think their last good album was Plans, but that doesn't mean I can't hope their new album is good.

I love how vinyl for bands of their popularity is so overpriced. Look at labels like Deathwish and A389 with LP's for $12. I'd much rather give them my money.

I currently have a sealed copy of the 180g, not sure if I should open it and check.

I think an Opaque Ivory, with White Swirls would like so good for this.

The Debut III's RCA cables are hardwired. That would be so much more convenient than having to buy a 120 dollar device for something stupid though. The hum is fine during the day, so it's not a huge deal, but if I want to spin sometime during the night it's pretty frustrating.
