Alright I need some noob help setting up my new stanton t.55 record player. I set everything up and went to play a record and there's no sound coming from any where. Is there supposed to be? I can hear a very faint sound coming from the player itself, but that's all. Is there a way to play the sound through my mac through the USB cord? I also tried setting up the Red/White audio wires to a single line to the back of my computer speakers input hole and switch the turntable to the line setting, I got audio but it was really quiet and only coming from my right speaker. Can someone please help?

It's Lookout Records #3 - stamped with #2642 in red. ~$20 that kind of stinks I thought it would be worth a little more.

I picked up an Operation Ivy - Hectic 7" w/ original Laytonville address, it's stamped too in an ebay lot a few years ago for like $15-20. I was just wondering how much this is worth (roughly) and if anyone knows the pressing info. on it? It's not up for sale/trade, I'm just curious.

I have the perfect pair of speakers for you! I searched for a good month for good quality speakers on the cheap when I got my new iMac. The Altec Lansing Expressionist Bass 2.2 Speakers put out the best quality for their price! They are ~$130 and have perfect high and mid range sound AND has 2 4" mini-sub woofers in the base of the speakers that puts out the little bit of thump we all need. They sound MUCH better than the $99 Bose speakers that everyone buys.

They are computer speakers but I plan on getting that same Stanton turntable at Christmas time and plan on using these speakers for it because they kick so much ass! Plus, they get good reviews from everywhere I've read.

Don't believe what this guy says, he's a joke. He's been telling everyone that "all orders will be shipped by xx/xx" for weeks! I've been waiting for a This is Hell 7" since '06 that he claimed he "will be shipping soon" numerous times!

waytansea27, don't you mean he won't doing anything about paint it black except 7" ?

I think he'll do another full length at some point in time, he seems to love doing what he does too much to stop and putting out only 7"s seems like a temporary solution for the way he's feeling about musicians not being able to make more than 3 great LPs.

Was this ever pressed on vinyl? Also, has the lead singer Zack Furness done anything after this? I know he was in Teddy Duchamp's Army prior to Voice in the Wire, but I haven't heard anything from him since Voice.

So, yeah I'm the guy who posted about this thread over at punknews. I ordered a This is Hell 7" in 2006 and never received it. I wrote back to him like 5 times since then and received 2 responses, both of which claimed he'd sent my order out. I swore off buying anything ever again from them until the Fireworks LP came out and I caved and gave him a second chance, which doesn't look any better this time around. Anyway this guy lies about everything he says, if he says something is shipped, IT'S NOT. Why doesn't he just say he hasn't shipped it yet and quit being a tool. I would appreciate honesty over a lie, that isn't even a good one because if the record doesn't arrive a a week or two obviously he wasn't telling the truth. I've never interacted with anyone that could lie so freely and consistently and not even care. It sucks even more for the bands putting out releases through them because they can't sell records they don't have. He screws his customers and the bands on his label. Not cool dude.
