To clarify, I was able to just plug my technics turntable in and it would play fine.

Hi guys, new here! I recently acquired what I think to be a Lloyds bsr c129 turntable and I have been having some problems with it. I have owned a record player before, a Technics unit, and that was easy enough to setup. On this one It appears to have preamp built in to it as there is a volume control and speaker outputs. My question is, can I just plug this into my receiver or do I need separate speakers? I don't want to damage my receiver or the turntable. Thanks a bunch for any advice!!!
