That is why I am hesitating to start fighting for a refund. I figure I've waited this long I can hang on a little longer. I've never had a problem with MTS before so I'm willing to give RJ a chance (though it is fucked up he hasn't made any comment on the status at this point). Plus, with Paypal and Mark on the case I'm sure if some sort of refund is issued I can worry about it then.

Special tour merch is cool. I was hoping for some sort of vinyl single or something. Highly doubt it though.

Contemplated going to the last show on Saturday but I could barely afford 1 date so w/e. I've never been to Club Nokia but I hear it is way bigger than HOB so I wanted to go to the more "intimate" show (for lack of a better word). To be honest I'm just glad I got tix to any show

I just found out the other day. My friend texted me and told me so I told him I would try to find tickets. He texted me back and said "don't worry about it, I already bought us some. " haha. What a good guy. I don't know what day he got tickets for but I think it's the one on Thursday. So I'll be there. I'm always super early to shows so I'll most likely be front of the line. Nice. What a legit friend. I just looked and I have tix to the friday show. I want to line up early too but I don't know yet. I wonder if they're gonna have any limited edition swag available. I read somewhere they might which may help me make up my mind.

That is why you're seeing most of their discography repressed right now. I managed to pick up tickets to their 2nd to last show at HOB Anaheim on June 15th. Anyone else here going? I've been fortunate to see them many times over the years and it really sucks they're going on hiatus. Hopefully though all this repressing of stuff calms down because as a huge Thrice fan it is really hurting my wallet.

Its all the same pressing. With the over run there were exactly 1066 copies It may be a n00b question, but what exactly is the over run for? I always assumed the extra pressings were given out to the bands/labels/whoever involved with the release or that there was just extra material (sleeves and/or records) left after the pressing limit.

I thought someone was working on replacing Virgil with RJ in that picture googlemyass (or whoever it was) that had it in their signature on the old forum. I miss seeing that picture.

I hope this happens. I don't care for Smile For Them, but those first 2 albums are great.

+1 to Sharkticon based solely on your awesome username. Anyways, kinda agree with kyleevanswastaken. Record Store Day is a great way to support local record stores, but everything is over-priced and in such small pressing quantities that it's impossible to get anything if you aren't willing to wait in line at 3am. That has at least been my experience in the past. Plus, 1/2 of it all ends up on ebay later anyways where it eventually becomes over-saturated with each item and you can just pick one up for just a few bucks more than retail.

I have a boner for that liquid 12" LP. Even the etched 12" is badass. It's a shame though that all of us West Coast people will never see any of these releases. Does anyone think Third Man owns the patent to the processes for these records. I'd love to see other labels take either process and pump out something more widely available.

I whole-heartedly agree that this need to be pressed. Perhaps a 1/2 Red and 1/2 yellow split color or swirl. Even go deluxe status and and make screen printed sleeves like his Hulkamania shirts. God the possibilities are endless. haha
