This whole thing doesn't make any sense to me. The price increase makes sense to me to stay competitive they needed to do it. But to separate streaming and rentals into two separate websites and businesses? I just don't get how that's easier for the consumer, seems like its just an annoying added step. I wasn't planning on cancelling anything with the price hike since I was comfortable with it now I'm just annoyed, but maybe it'll be better than I think it will be.

Exactly. The price increase didn't bother me. The separation bothers me a lot. I wasn't going to remove one of the 2 services, but now I'm definitely going to.

The thing that really sucks is that getting most movies that people actually want to watch on the instant streaming is going to take a long, long time. The movie industry really isn't on board with this.

This bums me out and really made me move to strike streaming from my subscription. I rarely use streaming as I'm at work all day, and watch stuff on my DVR at night. Then I'll get whatever movies I want in the mail. I liked being able to see what was available on instant that I already had in my queue, I wonder if they'll get rid of that?

I use Gcal with Ical daily. I created a calendar in google, then was able to subscribe and update it from ical. Are you just having trouble doing it in outlook?

Make sure you have the correct calendar selected in outlook, that is always the issue I have there.
