My parents 1430K califone has a lot of problems - intermittent bass feedback, other noise, and record to record variations in quality. I've had it serviced a few times by someone who works on turntables for a living and sells a lot. I think we have hit a dead end with what can be done and I really don't want to put much more effort into it. I wondered about trying to connect an external speaker by a cord to the out jack. They have a bose that they want to try. Is this as simple as a cable with a jack on one end and split RCA on the other? Is the califone jack 3.5 or 6.35mm? Thanks very much for any help
