Yeah I watched a couple after your suggestion, I dont have one on hand, but I took the stylus off and it looks really worn down, might just buy a new one when I get the chance. Any suggestions?

I cleaned the connections of the cartridge out with a little rubbing alcohol and a q-tip, and the sound improved just a little bit. How would I go about cleaning it more thoroughly?

Up until recently I just owned a portable record player. But after helping a friend move, he graced me with a whole turntable setup. I received a Pioneer PL-112D turntable, a JVC Stereo Reciever, model JR-S300, and a pair of AIWA speakers. I have everything set up and its playing my records, but the audio is just horrible. I can hear the audio just fine, but it's super fuzzy, and no matter how much troubleshooting I have done, it still ends up with the same result. Can anyone help me fix my problem?
