  1. Yea but... don't they keep making jeans? Are there limited runs and all that?

I don't know all that much about it, but i'm fairly certain the "nicer" stuff is all in limited runs, and handmade and whatnot... the closest i get to high-end denim is a pair or two of Diesel's when I can find them for cheap on Ebay. Otherwise it's black Levi's 501's for me.

  2. Will any US distros be getting this?

I'd imagine a handful of copies will show up at Robotic Empire or Vinyl Junkie, but they don't have an actual US Distributor still, which is a terrible bummer.

Maybe we could work out a group buy? I'd be willing to helm it, i've done one before that went off pretty well. And i've got a ton of extra mailers sitting around.

Unless Denovali would be willing to let their US distro be done out of some bored nerd's condo! How's that sound? I'd do that in a heartbeat!

  3. I hadn't heard anything about this yet, but Rourke, and Rockwell? I loved the first one, and this one is shaping up to be even better.

And, although I agree that Cheadle is a better fit, it always bums me out when there is the same character played by two different people in two different movies.

Bands I care about... although my musical taste is generally not in line with 98% of this board's.

I think most people aren't going because of the time of year, and because of the apparent clusterfuck that last year's camping and overall weekend was.

  5. On another note, I recently cancelled my cable. I don't even have basic anymore because I'm too lazy to get an antenna. I realized that every $ is a like a little ballot supporting the system, and the cable system is pretty bogus. I'm not paying money for a bunch of channels I don't even want when I really only watch 5-6 of them. I can stream stuff online.

Outdated business models need to be buried, and the best way to do that is vote with your $.

This, not that I cancelled my cable, but that I moved to a new city and didn't even bother hooking it up.

  8. Selection is good, studios have some sort of deal with Netflix where there is a certain period of time that has to pass before it is available to them. Not a ton of new movies, but a lot of recent stuff.

Not sure about the 360, but if i'm not mistaken there's some sort of fee you have to pay to use it on the 360. Computer & PS3 are free.

One more thing, don't sign up for their cheapest package, yeah, it's only like $4.99 a month, but you can only stream a maximum of two hours a month. Bump up to the $8.99 package and it's unlimited.
