I finally got mine yesterday, and I too received an extra lp and a hand drawn self portrait of John with some random lyrics around the picture. To be honest, I'm just happy I got it. I e-mailed the guy last week, but he didn't respond, so I was worried. I got #100/100.

I don't know how that was funny that he didn't know what the fuck I was talking about. Oh well. In lamen's terms, I was referring to the process of ordering a record during the presale to when you actually get it. I ordered it during the presale, and now I'm patiently awaiting its arrival. Sweet Jesus, my EVR copy has arrived alas!! It hadn't been seen or heard from since it was shipped last Thursday. I have every reason to be early to work today, since that's where I get my packages. HaHa they love it when I get records in the mail, it's the only time I show up early, not just 'right' on time.

haha nope! Believe it or not....Bakersfield has a sick vinyl section. I pretty much cleared out their clearance section in the past though, lol, with the exception of all of the t-shirt/vinyl boxes that is. They have plenty of those left. When I moved out here, the first thing I got in their clearance section was a FYS - 1st pressing on purple of Rise or Die Trying. There were 2 copies in there!

I am in <3 with the vinyl section @ my Hot Topic. They get almost every single thing that HT sells on vinyl. AnyWho grabbed up

Guys, guys, guys. Nothing calls to a flipper like a bunch of vinyl collectors throwing panic tantrums about a release /2000 that everyone knew wasn't hitting every store right away. They didn't even have to work for this one. They just followed the giant red flag that said FLIPPERS THIS WAY directly to this thread. :-/

Hot Topic has variants of the colors. I got the green/black splatter when it first came out, and the other day there was a copy that had already been opened so I peeked and was jazzed that it was green/gray haze.

I think they did the right thing in delaying it. Ethically you shouldn't advertise a product and at the last minute decide "eh fuck it they'll take what we give em" and distribute variants people didn't order. If I ordered blue/black and just got solid blue I would be pretty pissed bc that's not what I ordered. If you ordered a pinstripe shirt and got a solid one wouldn't you return it?

I didn't hear much about people returning the white/light gray streaked TDAG's from the bands pressing, and white/black marble was what we all bought. just sayin'
