NEW RELEASE UPDATE Delays in production have been hitting three releases. So here is a run down of what is coming in the next several weeks... -DUDE JAPAN "Teenage Summer EP (demo)" 7 inch lathe The covers have been done for a few months and look beautiful but I am still waiting on the records. Single Piece Slate is in the process of moving and I have been told the records will ship in early December. The "Teenage Summer" 7 inch lathe is limited to 50 pieces and each copy has hand stamped labels and is packed in a full color, numbered cover. The music on the "Teenage Summer EP" documents DUDE JAPAN in their early more lo fi indie pop/indie rock beginnings. The covers were printed up and arrived a few weeks ago. And the vinyl is finally in production which shortly after the test presses are approved, the finished records will be sent to the band to have their naked b-sides be wonderfully silk screened before heading back to the east coast so I can finally make "Surfn' WA" available for all. The band has just finished recording their fourth full length album and is pleased so announce that it will be released as a CD to coincide with their last show. The material on their last album proves to be their most sonically complex and noisy effort, culling influences from Unwound, Sonic Youth, Polvo, The Minutemen, The Ex, and Glenn Branca.
