Silent Alarm was a classic, but their last one was not good at all in my opinion. I'm still holding out hope though, but I'll have to wait to here it. I really hope they stray away from the electronic direction they were taking.
I actually quite enjoyed the electronic direction they were taking. That said, the trailer for Four is pretty exciting...

I would LOVE to have a copy of this!

Instant record collection! Woo hoo!

Did anyone get this yet? Not available anymore on US store. Looking to get one.
My Amazon preorder became the classic "We'll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item." So, who knows?

Also the 7 is a continuation of the the five 7s series they were/are doing
Yes, and the b-side is a cover of Nick Cave's "Jack The Ripper." Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

sad to see no BRMC releases on the list. Hopefully they are planning on releasing it sometime
Both are up for preorder on Amazon:

Empty your piggy banks!
And speaking of Love 2, they appear to have copies of that still in stock, too.

After spinning the LP, I feel like this album is going to need to grow on me. Rohnert was that way a little, and after 3 listens I was obsessed and so glad that they had changed their sound. Don't know if that will happen again!
*PS - did anyone else have minor skips within the first 2 tracks of the record?
Just finally got to open mine on red... Minor skip on the second track...
-
Got my first 7" in the series today. Has anyone actually gotten their 10% off coupon codes?
-
does your raconteurs LP sound pretty bad on side A? i guess a lot of people are having issues with a "whooshing sound". mine has it.
Ditto... shoot'em an email about it, looks like the earliest copies had the issue as the folks just now getting it aren't having that issue.
I shot them an e-mail and they immediately sent me a replacement. Sounds exactly the same. Side A is messed up and Side B is fine. I give up. Bleh.

The MP3's on the Killing Joke live album went out to pledgers around Christmas. Good stuff...

I'm having the same problem. Glad it wasn't just me.

Ordered both. Happiness soon.

Music On Vinyl remaster most of what they release. In all likelihood, this will be remastered, too.
And they do a great job, too. I haven't picked up one of their releases yet that didn't sound amazing...

The folks at my local Hot Topic are usually very good about marking down the clearance vinyl when they're supposed to. Problem is, the good stuff is usually sold before it ever makes it to the clearance rack. I think the vinyl buyers in my town hit up Hot Topic more often than is the norm in larger towns.

I remembered paying $25 for the Whip It On 10" awhile back and being not all that thrilled about doing so, but since it was a good price and going for nearly $50 anywhere else I could find it at the time, I went for it. Paying Discogs/eBay prices for an LP straight out of the gate is not something I'm that thrilled on regardless of how much I like this band. Maybe if it's a double and I find it used (though it doesn't specify and seems to imply they're stuffing 26 songs onto a single LP which is impossible given the length of their stuff). Pass.
I'm actually quite glad I dropped the $50 on this... The Discogs price is already silly...

I will only pay $140 for this if it's pressed on diamond-encrusted pimp cup vinyl.
