Good thing Im working overtime.

I just pre-ordered the Pelican live DVD with bonus 3" cd from Hydra Head. You all should snag one too, It is going to rock.

-Found out my girlfriend has been cheating on me again. Not sure what I'm going to do. I don't have much money right now and we still have till the end of March untill our lease is up.

well, if the people who didnt rush out to see it in fact DO have the movie spoiled, i wouldnt see why they would be upset. If they werent one of the ones who rushed out to see it, they must not have been too interested in seeing it in the first place. I mean, even the people who couldnt afford to go to the movies would at least find a way to download the movie that weekend.

One film I really loved was The Fountain. And the soundtrack is beautiful.

I don't want you to think this is going to be some kind of film with an involved plot, so much as it is just a "documentary" of heavy metal fans/culture prior to a Judas Priest concert in 1986. I mean, I don't know how much you've looked into it. It's kind of like 'people watching'. There's no dialogue, it's all very real and very hilarious (mostly unintentionally, from the people it features).

Ultimately it appeals to the same part of me that likes to watch old Civil Defense, propaganda, and educational films. It's a bizarre and real look into a culture that is fucking hilarious when you think about it.

also, it's less than 20 minutes long.

also, funniest part? Dudes actually think Priest is BETTER THAN MAIDEN. I mean what the fuck?

Netflix says its 165 minutes long. I do agree that priest is nowhere near the awesomeness of The Maiden.
