  1. Hi Everyone, My label, We Are Busy Bodies has been semi-inactive for a little while, but has issued five releases in as many months and has another 10 by the end of this year. If I'm not getting the FAQ guidelines for posting exactly right, just let me know. All are limited to 200-300 LPs for the most part. http://www.wearebusybodies.com ABC Gum (Bloomington, IN) - Members of The Cowboys, Dancing Cigarettes. Next LP out on Burger. 300 LPs. 2. We Are Busy Bodies is set to release Pink Wine's new four song 7" on August 18. Frantic, catchy and melodic power pop/punk. Previous releases on P. Trash and Young Modern Records. Limited to 500 copies on black vinyl. Comes with digital download and lyric insert. Pre-Order Check out Pink Wine's previous releases HERE. Other Recent We Are Busy Bodies Releases: Limblifter - Pacific Milk CD/LP - Fourth LP by Limblifter after a 10-year hiatus. Catchy rock/pop. Past/present members of: Black Mountain, Change of Heart, Age of Electric, Salteens, Sloan, Black Halos, New Pornographers and every other Canadian act you can think of. Hear the record. Meligrove Band - Bones of Things CD/LP - Fifth LP by long running Canadian power pop band the Meligrove Band. Catchy, melodic rock. Hear the record. Jaye Jayle - Moonglares/Valley of Alcohol 7" - Jaye Jayle is the solo project of Young Widows frontman Evan Patterson. Unlike the abrasive noise rock of his main band, with Jayle Jayle Evan makes creepy psychedelic music. It's indebted to some of the cult bands of the late '60s (the label's description namedrops Silver Apples which is pretty apt) without being complete worship of that era. - Brooklyn Vegan. We Are Busy Bodies released the fourth and final 7" of a four part series. The three other 7"s were released by Sophomore Lounge, Hawthorne Street Records and Jade Tree Respectively. Watch a video of the A-side HERE. 4. full-length is being written currently, hopefully will be out late this year. to my knowledge, no US distro's really have these 7"s as they usually sell quickly off-stage, so we've kept them to at shows and mail order primarily.
  5. METZ's "Negative Space" single is out now. It is the third and final 7" in our series with the band. Limited to 500 copies on purple swirl vinyl. You can hear the A side at www.myspace.com/metztheband There are still a few copies of their second 7" available. 6. Hi, I was directed to this board by someone who ordered one of the Young Guv 7"s I am releasing as part of a limited edition series. All of the 7"s are limited to 100 copies with only 65 of them being made available for sale and even of those not all of them are available because many subscribed to the full series. I'm only going to post once to explain pricing. With the 7"s being limited to 100 copies, the price of manufacturing the records and jackets is higher than pressing even 300 or 500, then with that factoring in shipping all over the world, it isn't financially feasible to sell this record for $5pp as much as I would like to. One person commented on shipping being on top of what was posted, which I will look into, but past that, this is why the price is what it is. I'm tossing in some other 7"s as well with all orders. As it stands, there are 25 copies of the record left. I buy, release and collect vinyl, so while I do understand where people are coming from and are frustrated, I can't actually make the price lower on this short of a run.
