Listened to the album a few times today. Nothing about it really stood out to me. All the songs kinda blended together. First impressions are that I'm super disappointed, but maybe I just need more time with it.

Also, I really liked the lyrics on The Upsides, but this time the whole narrative deal feels way too awkward. Some stuff seems like it makes a lot of sense to Soupy, but I really don't understand what the listener could take away from it.

I felt the exact same way about the new Fireworks album but now I absolutely love it! Maybe it just has to grow on you a little longer. I dunno. I loved the Upsides but in a way I don't want a "part 2" of it you know? I'm excited to hear something new and fresh!

Just got the record in the mail today! They put a LWL sticker over the "Shit" part on the plastic wrap. I thought this was getting pulled but I'm holding it in my hand right now!? hahha

Just ordered the clear! Needed that one to finish all the 1st pressings.

And he is! He said all I need to do is mail the broken one back to him and he will send me a new one. Works for me!

I just received this in the mail today and the fucker was actually split into 2 pieces. The cardboard mailer had no dents or anything, just when I opened it up I noticed the jacket was bent badly and saw the record was split right down the middle. It was the purple/black one to. I'm really hoping Chris will be able to help me out with this!
