I'm selling one that's black. I bought it on here for $85 a couple weeks before the repress was announced, so I'd love to get as close to $89 ppd as possible to cover all my costs. I don't have them both in front of me, but if I remember correctly, my fave part of the AFS press was that the texture was different--the jacket was slick/glossy, vs triple's cardboard feel.

But the Triple press includes a 12" square lyric sheet, and some of the lyrics are a bit different. I think that lyric sheet is the best part of either of the pressings, so I'd vote triple crown.

Oh, but then you'd miss out on AFS' awesome color variants...decisions, decisions. I'm no help: Buy both.

I've got a few variants bc this is my favorite album, but I never had the desire to have a full variant collection. If I sell any off, I can definitely whittle it down to 3, maybe 2 copies. top picks are blue/black, orange/black, and the white bc I love the lyric sheet insert from the triple crown press.

I'll probably get a lot of negative feedback about this, but I want to take a picture of various color variants of my records. I'd like them to be next to each other like this:

Can your records be easily damaged by sitting on top of each other like this? Obviously I'd handle them carefully, but I don't think I can ensure that the records don't rub against each other, at least minimally. I'd imagine they'd be fine, but I'd myself if I scratched a bunch of records trying to get a few pictures.

Not quite as awesome as in that pirates press link, but the colors are def. the same. All the parts are there (speckles, etc.), but the white area doesn't come out from the label quite as far.

Not much diff, so I'm going to be lazy and not upload a pic.

So happy the green sold out before I could buy...otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought this, much awesome-er color! Maybe I need to look at all future sell outs as opportunities to snag cooler variants...that Thrice Vheissu on peach looks way cooler than the brown, too (similar situation).
