February fifth? I went record shopping today and all the shops had it. EDIT: Whoops. Didn't noticed this thread had 3 pages already.

Yeah OK "no good plants" was the wrong expression for it. Most of the "civilized" countries will maybe have quality plants but no fancy splatter plants. So yes, probably you're right.

They don't do it because it's cheaper. Because it simply isn't. Quality is all that matters here. Rumour has it, the US has no good pressing plants.
