Anyone else order these yet? I'm tempted to order The Evil One and Don't Slander Me. I assume colored vinyl is gone, but am okay with that. The music still rocks.
I picked up "The Evil One", it looks/sounds great. I'll definitely be grabbing the other 2 as soon as the budget allows it.

Originals can go for $500+, so a boot is probably the only way you're going to own this record. I'm guessing the "Nasco" reissue is actually a Scorpio pressing, which are generally cheap and lousy quality.

If anyone missed the Napalm Death split and needs one, I have an extra to trade for either a Fucked Up split or a Venom covers 7".
-
That was me cutting those! I was the dude with the glasses... Will post up some photos of the operation soon if you want to see it! Thanks for posting the video, debaser!
I'm not a Cut Copy fan, but is was still really cool to see these being made. I'd like to see something like this at Pitchfork again.

Did they have the Melvins/Napalm Death split at the show?
They had some in Chicago last night.

Got mine yesterday on Blue.
Got mine too, also on blue. Played this thing 5 times already, worth the 16 year wait, great album!

How on earth aren't more people excited about this NEW ZERO BOYS!!!!!
I can't wait! I've got the 90s boot of Livin In the 80s, but i'll be getting the new 7" and checking out the Chicago show for sure!

I really want this to be good.
I have high hopes. I really like the tracks i've heard so far.

Looks like there are a bunch of versions, some kind of pricey - http://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?searchtext=hendrix+alive&x=-830&y=-247

I'm really embarrassed to ask this, but I've never known what the acronym KBD actually stood for. What does it stand for?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killed_by_Death_(albums) 1 through 4 are essential listening, after that there's as much crap as there is gold

Picked up a Mackie version of Freak Puke at the Chicago show. The show was excellent and they had lots of vinyl- the new 10"s ($35), the Hammerhead split 7" picture discs ($20), vols. 5 & 6 of the Sugar Daddy split 12"s, and of course the Freak Puke LP ($40). Wish i'd brought more cash, would love to have picked up vol 5 & 6 of the split 12"s.

Whoa I forgot about Eyes to Despise, used to have that. What's that Danzig boot 3rd down on the right?

yo lemme warn ya mr btr001,
better play nice or else you'll be banned like some other distros around here...
Haha! I always try to play nice! Plus, my catalog is pretty limited, I doubt i'm a threat to any other distros on VC.

Just checked w/ the label, they say the vinyl will be available on the Fat Possum site "soon". I swear I saw a link to buy earlier in the week, but I guess it was just for the CD.
-
I recall they were gonna try and give people who ordered the first 7" the same numbered copy of the new 7", anybody notice if it happened?

PO: Vista Chino - Peace (formerly Kyuss Lives)
in Vinyl Collective Message Board

This is a very solid record, the live show was solid too, even though the one I saw in Chicago was very poorly attended, which is a shame. My only complaint is the name "Vista Chino" sounds more like a coffee drink than a rock band.
