  1. I paid him for Jane Doe 10 days ago, gave me excuse after excuse... now has stopped responding. Already filed a Paypal claim. I suggest you do not buy from this guy. Seemed like a really cool dude at first, but sketch sketch sketch....

unfortunately, i already made a deal for the biggest purchase i've made from a VC seller. Well i guess that time has come to open my first paypal claim.

  2. From KRM - We wanted to give you an important update for your Propagandhi Failed States vinyl order. Unfortunately, the vinyl has been pushed back. MULTIPLE (caps for emphasis) rounds of test presses were rejected. Epitaph has chosen to redo the parts to press this record from scratch, so if all goes according to plan, the release date is October 9th. Of course, if those tests fail we will let you know ahead of time. The Kings Road site has been changed to reflect this date.

Your download is still going to be sent at the same time. It's possible that we will see vinyl earlier in September, but as of now, September 4th is going to pass and your order will not be able to ship as of that time. Your download will still be delivered on time so the music will be in your ears regardless.

We will honor any requests for refunds or exchanges if that’s how you want to roll. WE WILL NOT REFUND ANY VINYL ORDERS AFTER YOUR DOWNLOAD IS USED UP so please plan accordingly. We just like to pretend that people put vinyl on their turntables and want it to sound right. We’re old school like that. Not to mention, it’s entirely possible the riffs are so out of control on this thing, they’re shredding the grooves of the earlier test presses. We haven’t been able to confirm that scientifically, but we have plenty of anecdotal evidence.

Take care and thanks for the support and your patience. It really is appreciated.

    Break Anchor - Blackhearts & Blackouts 7"

This is the 7" of Break Anchor's first EP. This is the first pressing of it. THIS IS A PREORDER. So your order will ship on or around the street date of March 20. However, since you're awesome and you're buying a preorder, you get an instant digital download of the three songs right when you purchase it, before the street date. Here is the pressing information.

    BREAK ANCHOR:

When Jay Navarro, the vocalist/frontman of the Suicide Machines and Hellmouth, finally hit bottom and came out of a haze of booze, pills, anger and depression, he had a fresh outlook. He wrote a song so full of melody and so full of angst, he felt he had found himself again. “A Failure Of Epic Proportions” is a song about the Midwest American experience of growing into adulthood.

Thinking nobody would want to hear a song like this from him, or maybe anyone for that matter, he turned to longtime friend Cris Golan (The Story So Far and King For A Day) to play bass.

“I didn’t think anybody else in Detroit would get what I was trying to go for but Cris,” Navarro said. “I was aiming for early East Bay pop-punk like Crimpshrine, Operation Ivy, and yes...Green Day, and then mix in some Smashing Pumpkins.” Through a mutual friend, they hooked up with Kyle Green (Seized Up). Kyle brought a new perspective that would round out the trio of Break Anchor’s writing style. Late night jam sessions in the garage ensued, fueled by beer and always ending in a drunken listening party of old and new punk favorites.

With Jason and Kyle singing and handling guitar duties together, it became a wrestling match of dual vocals comparable to punk steadymen Hot Water Music and other such bands. Dan Stover (Seized Up) signed on to play drums and this Motor City rust belt machine was complete. Creating a fresh sound, unlike most Midwest offerings, Break Anchor will make you want to crack open a PBR or stare deep into the eyes of a bottle of whiskey, grab your best friend and sing along at the top of your lungs, “I'M FAILING!!”
