  2. Two new releases out now on Destructure : GaBLé / EXHAUSTION - split 7" This new release is an interesting meeting between two local bands proving that the DIY scene goes beyond music styles and that people can have more in common than they think. The name of GaBLé is now familiar for a certain number of people in the european indie scene due to non-stop touring and the release of three albums in less than 5 years. Their music consists of a very personnal assembling of folk, pop and electronic music. EXHAUSTION was formed in early 2010 and recorded a demo a couple of months after. Their music is influenced by different punk-hardcore subgenres from crust, disbeat to more melodic stuff. Each band has covered the other one with their own musical identity, GaBLé have made an intimist pop version of the song "Dead Trees" from EXHAUSTION demo while EXHAUSTION have made a progressive and raging punk version of "Drunk Fox in London" from GaBLé debut album "Seven Guitar and a Cloud of Milk". In addition of the cover songs there is an original track of the two bands. Both bands also collaborate for the artwork and there are three different artwork versions and cover colors available for this 7" ! more info / order : http://www.destructure.org/shop/gable-exhaustion-split-7 YOUTH AVOIDERS - Time Flies 7" Time Flies is the awaited new record from Youth Avoiders. After an acclaimed 7 songs demo tape later repressed on 7'', after a confirmation of their talentuous songwritting skills on the split 7'' shared with Zombies are Pïssed, The ¾ parisian, ¼ german combo offers you 4 new songs. On this 45 rpm 7'' full of dynamics, you will recognise the perfect mix that is now the unique band' signature. Their music is a fresh and urgent hardcore punk, with a clean and vicious guitar sound that brings the already good riffs to a even higher level. This is accompagned by an acute and powerfull drumming, a solid and devoted bass riffing and fronted by a punchy and rasping voice. This still quite young band has quickly matured helped by the good amount of shows played in only a couple years in their hometown Paris, but also in France, Germany & England. More shows and tour are being organised for 2012. Co-released with Build Me A Bomb. more info / order : http://www.destructure.org/shop/youth-avoiders-time-flies-7
  3. KARYSUN second full length entitled “Until The end” is out now on Destructure. After a first full length, split records with Year Of No Light and Lords, as well as touring everywhere in europe; Karysun, stoner, crust & metal influenced punk duo from Caen France, recorded a new full length. To keep the wall of down tuned guitar sound signature initiated by the previous recordings, Karysun went back to their now studio home, studio de la souleuvre with Guillaume Doussaud (Taint, Amanda Woodward, Aussitôt mort, headcharger) behind the mixing desk. They worked all together to get their more achieved material ever. Eight songs clocking almost 40 minutes is the result. Different landscape and atmospheres were reached, from straight forward crust punk to post rock progressions, from noise and technical metal riffs to minimalist metal punk rhythm. The duo has also been lucky enough to work with good friends and inspiring persons and vocalists such as Gerome Desmaison (Amanda Woodward), Dave Edwardson (Jesus Fucking Christ & Neurosis) Ryan Patterson (Black Cross & Coliseum). It was also time for new musical experiments and new instruments. Piano as well as three live drums can be heard. All together this is best material written and recorded from the band so far. Recorded in various places on two continent, mixed from april to july, mastered in september and october. Yes the band has chosen to take its time to have the thing correctly done. shop : http://www.destructure.org/shop/index.php?route=product/category&path=44_48 listen on bandcamp : http://karysun.bandcamp.com/ Destructure : http://www.destructure.org
  4. The idea of the split came during both bands co-headlining west coast US tour early 2008 and was released in Japan on CD when both band toured Japan together last year. The vinyl version will finally see the light of day early January. Drain the Sky formed during September 2005, in Oakland, CA. Memphis and Bay Area hardcore/punk veterans collaborate to create visceral, atmospheric, threatening music that seeks to collapse (musical and other) boundaries. It features Carl Auge (His Hero Is Gone, Dimlaia) on Bass. Birushanah is an experimental sludge/doom metal band from Osaka, Japan. As well as traditional Japanese music - which is a notable aspect of their sound - the band cites Neurosis, Swans, Zeni Geva, and Corrupted (whom bassist Sougyo previously performed with) as influences. Birushanah has lots of plans for 2011 such as Japan tours with Karysun, then Monarch, European Tour in April, and then a east cost US short trip. Birushanah shows are definitely a musical experience that you have to live if they play a town near you. There is a limited version on colored wax for mailorder. order : http://www.destructure.org/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=262 listen : http://www.myspace.com/birushanah http://www.myspace.com/drainthesky Destructure : http://www.destructure.org
