  1. Yeah, Ronnie was right...the actual Contra code was:

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, SELECT, Start.

For some reason, they missed the select. Idiotz.

You only pressed Select if you wanted a two-player game. The proper code is:

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, Start

The original code is only 1 set of B A http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konami_Code

the 30 lives code for contra ( where the code gained its fame) has the 2nd set of B A where as single set of B A is 3 extra lives -

So any and all are correct really depends on what they where shooting for

Yes I am that bored right now

  2. Yeah - Batterman was telling me that -I used to pretty much live at 811 in its prime - up till Corbin moved in with Ratza and Batterman to Cowboys-

Good to see another Flint Towner here though

I actually live in Orlando now but haven't changed my profile city

That's so funny cause i lived right next door, and then I moved right down the street to 907 for awhile. Small fucking world.

Yeah thats fucking crazy - The Shopping Cart Jousting video is up on my myspace-

if you want to relive that - http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=1231238

  3. I have that record, too! I always liked the packaging of that 7", with the cloth swatches on the front/back of it. I think I saw you guys live once, too, but I can't remember.

Yeah, the packaging was definitely the best part of the record. I don't even have a regular copy of it anymore. I have the test press though and that is good enough for me.

You probably did see us once. We toured somewhat regularly.

    Cowboy Chris FTW

  4. yeah how did you get that tommyrot split

ive been looking years for that...its must have cost you a shitload

2 girls that work for me both have copies of the tommyrot split... ive been trying to get one for awhile now... in fact they pretty much have every chicago era band vinyl release from that time period.. it kills me

Yeah - I remember asking you if they were interested in selling - Good luck getting it out of them -

Do you know if they have anything from the Plagiarist?? Id be really interested in that stuff - either to own or copies

  5. yeah how did you get that tommyrot split

It took me 9 years to find a copy that someone would actually entertain the thought of letting go (after a little help from a nofxwiki friend) - I actually traded for it - but it was a pretty heavy trade - I don't trade my NOFX records for anything - that said

    I traded

    NOFX - Ox Fanzine 7"

NOFX - Drowning Roses Split (cover had slight water damage) 7"

Black Flag - Louie Louie - First Press on Posh Boy 7"

Ive been after the demo tapes for awhile - they are almost as hard to find as the split with tommyrot - I really want to get my hands on em - but ill keep looking

  7. Thanks -

I wasnt aware there was a vinyl pressing of the Shady View Terrace split - do you have a pic and who pressed it?

and i don't have the tla vinyl, but i do know that it was released on castaway records before it was rereleased on cd under asian man

I knew that the cd version was originally release on castaway I didnt know there was a vinyl version- do you know if it was 10" or 12" -- Also would you mind sending me a pic of the Superhero EP - cover and vinyl? Id like it for reference

one has superhero e.p. written in the bottom corner and the other doesn't

and for the tla collection no one ever has the svt vinyl in their collection

    Thanks -
