  6. Actually, the Le Shok record wasn't done that way. Instead it was a flexi that was glued onto the cover. Neat idea but it ended up being a complete disaster because the cover pops up and makes needle skip a ridiculous amount.
  7. Technically any record released by a band would be considered Private Press and some would consider labels like Dischord to be Private Press, but mostly on eBay and serious record collecting sites Private Press denotes very rare and obscure records that are pretty much unknown (for better or for worse) from the wider world. Lots of times they are highly collectible records, like KBD stuff and like KBD, not all of them are valuable because the music is actually worth hearing, but are valuable due to the rarity of the record. Records that are considered private press would have been available to the public but would either be incredibly hard to track down or once they were gone, they were simply gone. You can argue that bootlegs are private presses as well, but that's mostly only because you can get away with saying "private press" "mail order edition" "fan club edition" and you can't get away with saying "bootleg".
  8. As promised, here is a picture of the tapes. Sorry the quality sucks.
  9. I'll take a pic of them all in a few. Just to be clear, none of them are demo tapes. Just promos. I screwed up about the Thrice, sorry. The songs on that are to what end & phoenix ignition. regardless, you'll probably never see it again due to the limited availability and all.
  10. also, to those that bought records off me. i mailed 'em out today!
  11. oh good, more records that you shouldn't miss out on.: also for sale 7"s dragbody - drenched and open - deltona frail - idle hands hold nothing 7" on kidney room records apartment 213 / gehenna - area 51 records
  12. Here ya go: At The Drive-In: Relationship of Command New Album 9.12.00 with songs "one armed scissor" and "catacombs". The back has tour dates throughout the USA. I don't think I actually saw them on this tour though. I know I saw them the year before though as well as at both This Ain't No Picnics. Limbeck - This Chapter is Called Titles: 2001 songs are "racine" and "drive on highways." I went to High School with these dudes, it's weird to know people listen to them. I may still have a flyer or two of when they played Battle of Bands. They started out as a pop punk band before evolving their sound. Justin was the student aid of one of my classes, and we used to play Grand Theft Auto and each jolly ranchers. Actually, that class was taught by the best teacher at the school. Memories... I also have a Thrice demo tape that features some acoustic songs not on the 2nd CD (the one on Green Flag then that got repressed on Subcity or whatever label it was). Didn't go to school with them but Dustin (as well as Alex from Atreyu) worked at the record store a few blocks from my house and also played the venue I worked at all the time. So much rambling, make offers on the two tapes!
