  1. up at school my friends and i would watch episodes every once in awhile, and most of the time there were a few girls chillin with us and actually enjoyed watching it too. of course theyd say "ewww" alot of times and close their eyes sometimes, but for the most part they enjoyed it.

  2. did he break 1,000 posts? if not, who cares

okay, it was funny for a little bit for could you please stop now? scott didn't say people didn't matter until a thousand posts, just that so many people pop up and then vanish that he doesn't really remember anyone until around 1,000 posts, which means they've posted for a few months. Think about the context of the statement and it makes sense, we do have lots of members who show up bomb post and then just stop. It wasn't a big enough deal that it needs to be a mem. Jesus.

haha, i've been here since the beginning...and actually BEEN here too. just dont got much too say i suppose. i also dont give a fuck if any of you notice me. though lately i feel a few aren't too happy with me, haha.

  3. i saw them a few weeks ago in mansfield, MA. i havent really listened to them the last few years, but they were really one of the first bands i loved. we tailgated all afternoon so i got pretty drunk, but it it was a fun time. their voices were a bit off, trying all these new vocal melodies while the crowd was singing the originals sounded weird. they only played "carousel", "josie" and "dammit" from the first two albums, kinda a bummer since those are the two i love...and im sure most of you too.

  4. well i believe thousands and thousands of texts in a months span is dependency on it. is it bad? i guess in the way you've put it, no.

the thing that really annoys me is just the fact that people seem to be controlled and fixated on the little screen in their hand almost all of the time. people get into car accidents, and even accidents just while walking, because they are staring at a little screen in their hand.

  5. you should spend some time and read a little about the subject before you sarcastically poke fun. read ted kennedy's own statement the next morning.

Statement? Oh I'm sure his statement was fact-packed and included every possible detail. I'm just not up on the these "the rich get off even if they're guilty as sin" conspiracy theories.

You know, I find it quite humorous in a sad way; you reviled against the use of cell phones or what you call people's dependency on them. However, you've got no problem judging a man, best I can tell, you've never met based on statements made in the press. In all likelihood whatever happened to that girl in Ted's car was judged by the judicial system to not be of the criminal variety. To me, the judging of other people's without knowledge of their situation and accurate knowledge of the happenings is worse than any person's use or over-use of a cellular phone.

so you dont judge any single person in the world until you've met them? Ted Kennedy was a senator, a world-wide known person, but noone is allowed to judge him unless they've met him? and if they are..how are they to do it without the statements of the press?

and just to make it clear, i did say "i didnt really like him" but never said it was just because of this one car accident. and im also completely aware of the many good things he has done.

  6. this shit boggles me. people have to stop being so dependent on stupid shit like cell phones.

    And computers, too.

Fucking technology making things convenient and shit.

dependency doesnt equal convenience. is it convenient to quickly shoot a text to someone? yes. is it scary that some people would be extremely bored, probably depressed, and wouldnt know what to do with their life if their cell phone was taken away from them? yes.

so yeah, i never said cell phones werent convenient, quit putting words in my mouth.

  7. Oh so you guys were on the jury and privy to the inner workings of the court? I didn't know that, I'm sure you know all the facts of the case then.

you should spend some time and read a little about the subject before you sarcastically poke fun. read ted kennedy's own statement the next morning.

  8. Seriously? The facts are he was drunk, killed a girl in a car accident, fled the scene, and didn't report it until the next day. If everyone acted like Ted Kennedy? Go check it his bio. He was expelled from college for having someone else take his exam.

"Kennedy struggled for much of his life with his weight, with alcohol and with persistent tales of womanizing" And that's from the New York Times, the most liberal paper in the country.

He helped bridge some partisan divides on key issues, but to say the country would be better off if everyone was like him is absurd.

If those were the facts people would be indited for judicial mischief big time. You can't let someone get off not guilty when those "facts" are as cut and dry as you portray. I'm going out on a limb here and saying those aren't all the facts.

the funny this, those are the facts. the police found his car the next day and THEN he made a statement. he had plenty of time and many oppurtunites to report the accident but never did until he knew he was in trouble.

  9. The guy showed plenty of remorse for it.

Someone dies and you bring up the biggest mistake they ever made? Classy.

haha classy? who the fuck cares...its not like we're at his funeral and someone brings it up, i siad i didnt really like him and then a kid sarcastically responded to me pointing out all the good he's done...why cant someone point out the bad?

  10. "played major roles in passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act and the 1993 Family and Medical Leave Act"

Yeah... what a jerk he was.

The guy definitely did a lot of good things but he is a symbol for every over privileged politician/celebrity. Chappaquiddick - guy drove drunk off a bridge, didn't report it to the police and left a girl to die. No punishment.

exactly. that's a pretty jerk move if you ask me.
