ben talked about it while he was figuring out the details of the vinyl pressing of lonely avenue. apparently represses of all the records are coming, we weren't really sure if the five records were being pressed, but now we know!
supposedly all remastered or something like that.

it's too bad that the pressing for taylor swift's new record sounds fucking terrible. i'd buy fearless in a heartbeat, though.
Id buy fearless in less than a heartbeat... I'm all about other music but you can't help it when a good pop act comes out! Taylor Swift's songs are catchy as hell, and despite its sound, speak now is actually packaged very well.
I wish the katy perry one of the boys lp was spread across two lps, not one lp and a record of bonus remixes... lame, IMO.
exactly. what's the point in listening to music if you don't allow yourself to enjoy a good pop song? that's me, anyway. fearless deserved all of the awards it got. what a great record. and while speak now was packaged pretty well, like you said, it was also very reasonably priced. $14 for a 2LP (was it on heavyweight vinyl?) is a great deal. it just sucks that it couldn't sound at least as good as the cd.
and one of the boys is only 43 minutes long. i think it would've been good as a 2LP with a D-side etching. or b-sides on the D-side anyway?

Haha yeah its available at record stores still.... I wouldn't trade it, just because I love the album... But it is easily accessible at lower prices than I paid for it. I went on a pop splurge a while back at amoeba and bought both Katy perrys, Taylor swift, and all American rejects. Sad day in my life, but it was worth it!

her first album is available on vinyl on amazon for $16.50. just so you guys know, if you haven't looked.

won an auction from me under jagsandcanes2011, opened up an unpaid item case, waiting till ebay steps in to see what'll happen. he's bidding on some auctions of mine that are still active, if ebay doesn't settle it, i'll just have to cancel his bids or something. shame because he bought a ton from me some time ago. he paid and all was well and fine, but it sucks that he drives up a bunch of my auctions, then the second highest bidder doesn't want to take the second chance offer.

i have a copy of the shooks/easel split on cassette. i wanna say around 60 were made, or something. but i kinda want to hold onto that.
i do have an everything shooks tote, i believe there were about 36 of those made. i have all of the earlier show posters, if you're interested in those. sixteen record release (two versions, one with "summer camp show" text, one without. the one without it is limited to 5 copies), FFF record release, winterball poster.
sorry, at this point i have already sold most of my shooks vinyl.

sure! my feedback was stuck at like 96% for like a year because some jackass didn't specify whether or not he wanted me to take a BRAND NEW picture disc out of its plastic sleeve, so he was all butthurt because it got there with seam splits and i wouldn't replace the sleeve or give him a refund WITHOUT a return. it pisses me off just thinking about it.

i kind of noticed a slight warp in mine too (during hear you me, as well)... did you buy it from ebay or BSM? i'm curious as to what to do. i bought it from ebay.
Slight problem with mine too. Not sure if it's warped, or if the grooves are a little off. Spin it and look at it from above. Grooves look a little lop-sided or something.
Either way, happy to own it, and the problem is super minor. Seems like only side a near the centre is affected.
yeah, oh well. still bullshit that there's a huge stink over where it was pressed and how it's high quality and $45... then there's this. LOL

I just listened to my copy and the first disc has a pretty serious warp towards the center. Makes the soft parts of "Hear You Me" sound like they're drunk. Bummed.
