I ordered another copy off of Hot Topic's site so i could get the black 180g and they sent me a starburst. This happen to anyone else?

Pay off student loans, Buy a house and new car, quit one of my jobs, and probably just hang out. I'd also give my parents a bunch of it. Help them pay off their house, buy my dad a new truck, send them somewhere cool on vacation.

"So some good news, and some bad news..

The bad news this will NOT be to us in time to ship next week.

The good news, you will have it still in 2012.

As of now it is looking like these will be to us in Early December from the plant.

We can not apologize enough about this, but sadly this project has taken even longer than we thought (been in the works almost all year) with the Hardbound Books that incase the entire 4LP Book Set are still traveling to the US by sea from China (only way we could do this and price it at the $50 we were able to).

Once we know more we will send out another update, but we are HOPING that this will ship out no later than early December, and hopefully sooner in the end.

Sadly vinyl delays are something that everyone is being effected with right now. We try and get things up and out as soon as possible, but in the end there's nothing we can do to always make that happen since vinyl manufactures offer no guarantee in the timelines.

Snagged all three. As far as color for the 2008 tour EP goes "All copies are on black vinyl, and theres a very good chance this will only be pressed once."

Got the red. Super excited for this. Just wish I could have gotten the patch for the extra $2 and kept media mail. An extra $8 for shipping was too much for me.

I just called and they told me that because so many of us are calling and since they know how many people have been scammed, that they're working towards refunding everyone within the next six months. Didn't get my refund today, but they said they're still working on my dispute and eventually I'll receive it.

I'm looking at an Audio Technica LP-60. It comes highly recommended but here are a few of my concerns

That it will skip, the cartridge isn't really that weighted

That it will mess up my vinyl, I hope to keep these records for life

Can anyone speak into these concerns?

I'm using this table in a dorm room and I don't have a lot of money to drop or else I would pick up the pro ject III.

On that note, can anyone recommend good speakers for a dorm room? Obviously I don't need speakers that pack a lot of power; I'm looking for fullness of sound and clarity without breaking the bank. I play everything from pop punk to acoustic so I need a full range of sound. It sucks to be a poor audiophile but if anyone can make suggestions in the 50-100 price range, I will love you forever. Quality over volume

I've been using my Audio Technica LP-60 for almost a year now (time for an upgrade, I know) but I haven't had any real terrible problems with it. It's skipped a few times at the beginning of my records when I hit the start button, but I usually place the needle myself. It also hasn't done anything damage to any of my records. As long as you clean them, they'll be fine.

These are both great. I'm so glad I made it to the Joie de Vivre reunion show earlier this month. Showed up super late, but still got to see them.

Holy shit. That Black Dads shirt. I definitely need one.

Got my copy today. Cover is still a little pixelated, but the black definitely looks awesome.
