Yes I have tried that email account...many, many, many times and no response.
I've logged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau now – I appreciate people have problems, etc. and I'm not an unreasonable person but this is effectively stealing – in the cold light of day he's taken my money, has been contacted (many times) about the status of my order, ignored my emails, won't give a refund and used my money on something that isn't my records.
