Ha! Skanks. People send me emails rather often complaining about all the shit I tend to send with orders, especially the candy. How could you complain about candy? Nice to hear an appreciator of the finer things in life.

To change the subject back a little, how does a record company make it hard? For the layman, what do they do that is such a pain? I am just curious. Not Deep Elm in particular, just generally.

Not giving you a lick of creative control and expecting you to pay every cent for their, and only their decisions.

There are many others actually but I've been trying to be more positive!

To change the subject a wee bit, does anyone have any suggestions as to what color combo I should do for the Two Conversations lp? I have some ideas but I'm curious what other fans would say. I use Pirates Press so you can view their gallery to get an idea. I'd like something custom made though...

I want Two Conversations to be out this fall. I've got a lot on my plate right now so it's in the step before manufacturing. Luckily, I actually have the items necessary to make it finally though!

Mr. Graveface, are there any plans to do "Lost Songs" and either or both of the Hundred Hands EPs on vinyl?

Yo! There are currently no plans to do those. Licensing is not the cheapest, easiest or most fun thing to do with certain record companies. The HH full length didn't sell well enough for me sadly to justify making vinyl. I'd love it though for my own collection!

Yup! Hand-numbereds are gone. I think we have about 200 or so left of the colored version though. Next pressing will just be black. 10 bones for EOTRW is a great deal!

At any rate, I actually went through and marked the number on each lp mailer so that everyone got their correct number.

And for those who haven't received them yet, they were shipped from 60631 on the 19th. Unless you paid the up-charge for Priority, Media Mail can take 4-10 days depending on where you live.

Oh and if I were rich, I would personally press T.W. Walsh - Blue Laws. I asked Tim about it before and he just said it's a matter of money basically. Which is completely understandable, 2 grand for something that probably would be hard to sell more than a couple hundred copies is a stretch. But that album means a shitload to me, and it's amazing.

Also, Seldom - Places I Haven't Seen. Don't know why I didn't think of these in my prior post.

Just wanted to let you know I'm putting that TW vinyl out hopefully later this year. Might be early 2010 though.

I fucking adore Seldom also. Trying to get him to record more records under that moniker!
