  2. "I thought about none of those things, though, the first time I saw TacocaT at the Dark Horse Bar in Missoula. I only thought, 'This is kicking me in the ding-dong, real good.'"-Jason McMackin (The independent)
  3. Australia's Dead, consisting of Jem on drums and Jace on bass/vocals, have released a full length LP. Realesed by Wantage USA who have brought forth the likes of Big Business and Red Fang- DEAD live up to the Wantage creed and bring forth the THUNDAAAAAH! Get the record here: http://www.wantageusa.com/ http://deadsounds.com/ for more info on DEAD
  4. Australia's Dead posted this about last years gets: "In Minot, North Dakota we played an exceptionally awesome DIY festival called Why Not? The orgnaniser of the festival played a great set, standing up with a broken leg or knee or something. He also presented me with a birthday cake on stage. Career highlights are piling up. TOTAL FEST!!!! Um……I need a separate email for this thing entirely. Imagine the ultimate festival, hosted by the ultimate dudes in a great town and multiply it by 1000:" Go here for complete TF review: http://deadsounds.com/news/
  5. Former members of GDBH new band King Elephant just finished recording... mastering is next.
  6. I miss the times when they would give away a tour 7" with any purchase. One of the reasons why I was always a fan. These peeps always gave back when they could.
  7. I live in Missoula and we have some amazing breweries here. Bayern, Flathead Lake, Draftworks, but in my opinion Kettlehouse takes the gold. They have a seasonal Dopplebock that is hands down my fav. Moose Drool is widely distributed but if you can find cans of Kettlehouse's Cold Smoke you should give it a try. A smooth Scotch Ale that is vastly popular.
  8. Got the record in the shop-pretty stoked guys- Hope to see you come through again
  9. Total Fest 2011 was a blast and now 2012 is here and we are firing up the collective coals and Whynot Minot has begun stirring the pot. This August is sure to get out of control. For more info on the fest go here: http://minorbirdrecords.blogspot.com/ TF is an independent, volunteer run music fest with a pretty fair roster of bands over the years. Whynot Minot is a fest located in Minot North Dakota and is all volunteer run as well. Check them out if interested or unfamiliar
