I have a copy of Modest Mouse's "This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About" on vinyl. It's an original pressing (the only pressing I know of) and is a double LP on black vinyl.

I've been thinking that I really don't want this record as much as some people. And I know a lot of people are dying to have it.

My copy has some wear around the edges on the jacket, and some scuffs on the vinyl, but nothing that actually affects the play of the album.

So if anyone wants to shoot me an offer, or send me your tradelist i'll be more than happy to take a look. Don't be afraid of insulting me.

I can't wait for this! I wonder if there'll be a deluxe for the vinyl? I saw him on Friday and it was crazy awesome. Front row dead center. AWK right in my face all night. Amazing.

In school today they asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, and I said Travis.

Here's a story: Last year I found a sealed copy of Facts at a record store for $15 and passed because I though it had been repressed and I could just pick it up later.

Here's a better story.

I found both a sealed Transatlantacism and Airplanes in a record store in Chicago.

I assumed they were the repressing, but I got em anyways, and payed about 50 for the pair.

When I opened em up, I found that they were both original pressings.

They've apparently been in the works for two or three years with mentions of a box set, but nothing has come up yet.

I'm sure it'll happen eventually.

I'm a huge Death Cab fan and i've been able to snag every other LP besides for these two no problem.

I even found Transatlantacism to be pretty easy to find.

But whats the deal with these 2? Why haven't they been repressed?

Would it be possible for somebody to repress these? Or is there something in the way?

If anyone knows of any repressings in the works, or has a copy for sale, let me know for sure!
