Yeah dude, I work in Trophy Scars and we've fielded about 50 emails in the last day or so already asking to hold copies based on different time zones. I personally know about 30-40 people that are picking this one up too. Not sure why you thought the demand was going to be so low - but considering the attention this has been getting on our FB, I don't expect this pre-order to last very long.

Alex has been wonderful and a joy to work with throughout the entire release of this vinyl. We are on a quick learning curve and truly appreciate all of the support we've had thus far. I recently received my Trickster Fox vinyl and sadly, the sleeve was creased. Trickster Fox has been sending them out personally as well, and she took into account every precaution with shipment. Sometimes the USPS just gets rough. If we were able to remedy these sleeves, I assure you we would. We are new to this and Alex and Trophy Scars admire your patience and consideration. For the love of god don't forget about Bad Luck! That's the album that should be 180g, 45 RPM, double LP, 24 karat gold embossed artwork, etc... Okay that's getting a little bit carried away, but you get the point! exalt!! as soon as i can...

first two EPs sold as a double gatefold 12"... last two Eps sold as a double 12" gatefold... exclusive art? 180g... get the masters recut with scott hull... alex - i'll call you on friday after recording. (i'm making this public to seriously jam up some hype. i'm being a dick but i swear you guys will enjoy it.) let's talk about the summer for something.

yeah... definitely disapprove of poaching this when kids drove from TX, FL, Montana, etc and flew from the UK just to see these shows. it would be a shame if one of them missed a shot at this because someone wanted to capitalize ($125!). although there wasn't much vinyl at the shows - more online sales will give peeps from all over a better opportunity to snag one.

i am so stoked on this. i'm really bummed i missed pyramid mirrors. i heard the title track and it was pretty awesome, couldn't find the b-side. the new volta track was right up my ally - very The Birthday Party-ish.

that's weird since the band mostly plays 21+ shows now. a lot of younger heads have been really upset about this. also, i'm not sure which shows you've attended but the last 5 or 6 have been predominantly older dudes. 1000 copies were pressed for the Bad Luck CD. the band wants everyone to have a fair shot at the splatter vinyl so they are going to reserve 50 for online sale, 30 for March 10, and 10 for March 11. the remaining 10 will be divided up amongst friends, family, and crew. presales should be launched by the end of next week. splatters will come with an exclusive hand numbered poster and a detailed retrospective on the recording process. there have been talks about a 180g gatefold, matte finish Bad Luck 2xLP. 100 with an all black cover featuring an embossed cat on the front. also Darkness, Oh Hell and Never Born, Never Dead will be pressed together as 180g 2xLP with alternate artwork and the inclusion of "August, 1980."
