  1. I love all their albums. Some more than others of course, but this album is great! I bought the original press not long after it was released and am really glad I didn't wait on it. As for this repress I went ahead and bought the red since it's such a limited pressing with a great cause.

Oh, but I had to order it with an XL shirt... I wear large; so if anyone's up for a trade, I'm your guy!

  2. Just came home with:
Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze (2xLP color press)
    The Replacements - Hootenanny

Lucero - 1372 Overton Park (Translucent blue press)

So very happy! I drove all around today searching specifically for some of the Replacements LP's and ended up with more than I bargained for. All three albums were 20% off as well. Total steal.

  3. So finally the album that's been in the works for years has been recorded, mixed, mastered, and pressed on vinyl! "Good Man's Ruin" is the first full length LP by Jason Cruz and Howl and is due out on 4/29 via Echotone Records. Jason Cruz as some of you may know, is also the lead singer of Fat Wreck band, Strung Out. It also features Chris Stein on bass who now plays with Saccharine Trust as well, who formerly was on SST records back in the day. On guitar you've got Buddy Darling who also sings for his band, The Darlings, who released their first full length in 2012. Down below you'll find the links to their first single from the record as well as the pre order link (digital download/12" vinyl). Check it out and leave your thoughts! I'm personal friends with these guys and I'm very excited to finally see this set for an official release.

  4. So if any of you are familiar with the punk band Strung Out then you should recognize the vocals on this Ep. It's Jason Cruz the lead singer from Strung Outs side project, although it's not punk rock. I would best describe it as country/americana influenced rock. I really suggest you check this out and pre order the 12" Ep. They are limited to 500 and come in 4 colors. The entire Ep is up on iTunes right now and I'll link you below to one of their songs so you can have a listen before laying down the cash. Let me know what you think!

  5. I too am looking to take my first step into the vinyl realm and like others the Pro-Ject Debut III seems like the TT I'll be going with. But what would you all recommend most for the rest of the set up with this turn table? I'd be hoping to spend around $500-$1000 on the entire set up including the TT. I've already got A pair of Klipsch WB-14 book shelf speakers so I'm curious what would sound best. Sorry if any of you have to repeat your selves I just would appreciate input on my specific situation. Thank you!

  6. I'm looking to purchase any Strung Out color LPs anyone has. So please feel free to PM and we can discuss prices. Thank you!

Edit: All I need to find is Live in a Dive on red and green and Twisted By Design on blue. If we can make a deal please PM me. Thank you.
