I used to be a flipper (not just with records) but now I'm just a listener. It's a much simpler and more rewarding way of living.
-
This is a great idea! Are the codes only good once?
-
Bummer, they're sold out, so they gave me a refund.
-
Oh, that would be a good one to own.one of my personal favorites.. Listened to it a couple months back, I remember it being thoroughly awesome.

I forgot to mention in the video that Gary Murray's performance of "Next Time Around"...That song was originally intended to be on Starflyer 59's "Gold" album, but was released instead on the "Goodbyes Are Sad" 7". It can also be heard later on the "Easy Come, Easy Go" double CD compilation and on the "Gold" extended release from a couple years ago.

Does Listener- Wooden Heart count?
Sure, why not?

What's your favorite spoken word vinyl? Or maybe you have several you'd like to list?
It could be in the comedy genre, or maybe political, poetic, or even audiobook.
List them please!

Thanks for the update. Anberlin is always a great listen!

Tell me more. I've never had problems with BTV.

I'm used to folks making fun of my records. I'm cool with it!Ha. I really thought people were going to make fun of his records before his looks.Board isn't punk rock any longer.
BTW, huge SF59 fan here!

I can't see to find anywhere to buy this?
Burnt Toast Vinyl is selling it.

And, just so you all know, Jason from SF59 has a new vinyl out with Ryan Clark from Demon Hunter. http://vinylcollective.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=74644

I got my copy of Everybody Makes Mistakes for around $8 about 2 years ago because whoever listed it had no idea what he had, and listed it as "Tooth & Nail - Everybody Makes Mistakes". I happened to search Tooth & Nail, made the only bid. It's my greatest score to date. It's not for sale though.
That is epic!
I know of one other person who found EMM at a Goodwill for a buck once. Who knows how that ended up there?

Google. Was looking for a forum to discuss vinyl.
-
Oh, and I should mention that there's a new release coming out soon from their recent Kickstarter project. Get this, it's vinyl and mp3 only. NO CDS.
-
As I'm sure some of you know, Starflyer 59 vinyl can be pretty tough to get your hands on as many of the releases go for $100 or more on Ebay.
Those who do own, where did you get your copies and how much did you spend?
I'm particularly interested in those who own "Everybody Makes Mistakes", "The Fashion Focus", "Leave Here a Stranger", "The Drop" 7" and "Gold"
I'm not here to buy your stuff, don't worry, just starting a discussion.
