The Clouds Hill Tapes Part I, II & III are 20 new songs produced by Johann Scheerer and performed by Omar Rodríguez López and a range of guest musicians. They are going to be released as a 3 x 12" vinyl box set on July, 24th. It comes with 10 monochrome photographic prints takes during the recording session at Clouds Hill Studio in 2019.

I'm guessing it's from the original tapes. The Californication tracks are the worst and that has legendary brick walling.

If you can post a sample of one of the tracks, I could do the same for the original vinyl release of Greatest Hits, that way we can have a comparison between the two pressing.

Did anyone who ordered when FYE had stock on Wednesday receive a shipment notice yet?

I wonder if we'll see a reissue of Live in Hyde Park sometime near/after this. Both of those albums had a very limited initial vinyl run.

Just a heads up... the version of the album Amazon is selling is on black vinyl, not clear.

I dont know what you mean by "they still have it". If you mean they havent shipped it then yes. But if you mean they still have one for sale then no they dont. I have already paid for the last one and I have a receipt.

"Still have it" meaning I called the day I send them an email and they said they were all out. Following day, they called me saying they had a copy for me to purchase, which I did.

I got one! I called permanent records and they had one left and I ordered it. They are just waiting on the jackets for the vinyl to be shipped in. For some reason they shipped the vinyl without the jackets. Stoked that I got one though.

I emailed this morning and they said they'd contact me later in the week for my billing and shipping info.

I decided it'd be better to not wait and called them about a half hour ago. They had four copies and were all sold.
