Earth Crisis? ...really...?
-
how about He Is Legend covering a Pantera riff
lol.

yeah, the boards were lame. all hardcore / edge idiots. there was some good bands from the area though. mainly Bob & the Sagets, The Menzingers, Graveyard Rumblers, Slightly Askew, An Albatross, the Sw!ms, Fo A Cha, The Holy Mess, the STD wasn't to bad for streetpunk, Title Fight, and Riverdale Zombies.
i lived a block from Cafe Metro in the dorms at Wilkes. i pretty much lived there during my time in the town. i still stop by and visit Matt, Donald, creepy kev, Diane, and Kristle anytime i'm back in the town.
Driv In By was my favorite band in the area... the dude went on to play in Young Livers! I am not really a fan of Young Livers, but I know many around this board enjoy them, which is cool to see. I also like Stay Six, Mother/Daughter Team, City & State, tigers jaw, sun up/sun down, dinosores, etc etc

i hade the edge douchebags in wilkes-barre ready to hunt me down at one point. can't remember what i did anymore, but i remember being paranoid as fuck anytime i left my dorm. something from the 570 boards a while back. then i got banned eventually for liking ska (no joke), and i got about 30 ska kids from kray to flood the site and spam the hell out of it and the one dude put a meatspin redir in his sig. basically killed the forum. they ended up deleting the board and restarting it if i remember right after that.
Lol @ 570 boards. I would love to see that.
I'm from the 570... if you think any of those kids are listening to good music or play in talented bands, you are on drugs. Losers, all of them. Waste of time going to shows anywhere in Northumberland or Skook county.

nope. So if it involves COA I am not close then lol.
-
oh he said how this happened so I figured he was talking about how they got signed lol.
-
known for a loooong time haha. how this happened is REALLY interesting actually. but i'm not at liberty to discuss it.
hardcore legend of middle eastern decent calls guy from b9 and says there is this band called Energy keep an eye out for them. And so guy from b9 does and realizes Energy plays shows with a lot of b9 bands thus they are signed.
close?

Irreversible - Sins

Just got off the phone with Equal Vision. It is a bootleg. It's not an official release. It was not made by the band or the label, or with the band/label's consent. Don't support it.
EDIT: They're also in the process of tracking down the people who did it.
Was the pizza shop's number busy or did you just hit the wrong number on speed dial?
lol +1

i forget what bands members of tigers jaw used to be in. oh my shitty memory

Title Fight, Bangarang, The Erection Kids, all and any PA pop punk/hardcore crossover fused bands > FYS and SYG.
biased like the Kansas City Chiefs fan that I am.

SYG covers lil John
FYS covers Kid Rock
its like the lesser of two sucks.

I am actually curious as to what the full 23 bands are...
I mean, if Earth Crisis was notable enough to make the front cover, then there has got to be some ridiculous bands being claimed to have shaped punk in this issue.
