Speaking of slipmats, I know a lot of people on here don't like Victory, but they put a bunch of slipmats up that havealbum covers and band logos for Bayside, Blood for Blood, and BTBAM, Streetlight manifesto.

Back in the day, Victory used to do really awesome screen printed, numbered fold-over jackets for their vinyl releases.

I own several of them and prefer them to the boring regular jackets - at least they had some personality.

I agree with you, a lot of people Bitch that they were cheap looking and all that, but they were going for that old school DIY look. I have most of the ones they did like this and I also feel they have more personality to them, BTBAM the Silent Circus and Silverstein When Broken.. foldover jackets especially.

Also I didn't know that they made a fold over version of Where You Want To Be and Atreyu The Curse. I know TAYF and Suicide Notes had a foldover version.

Got my pink today. I hate to be that guy... so all I will say is its playable.

I really like the looks of the chipboard, and the foldover style would go great with this. I also think it would look good with or without the black border. Either way I'm sure this is going to be better than it is now.

Also the foldover style still allows you to see the etching which I think is what o'brother was after.

Just got Jake and Ben to sign my tour copy!! Jacob Bannon is probably one of the coolest most mellow musicians/artist I've ever met. Can't wait til they are up.

Really cool on the part of Kings Road, I got the same e-mail. Good to see a company go the extra mile they could just as easily refunded us and not give us a replacement so I am very happy with this and will be a lifelong customer of theirs.

So everybody in here with a shitty record is emailing Kingsroad right? I'd like to see a solid second press so I can pick this up.

Yup got the same issues as everyone else and got the same response as the other guy described from kings road. It's definetly because the grooves are not deep enough to track the stylus.

Has anyone seen anything about whether or not they will have the tour version at the Union Transfer show in a week or so.

I wasn't sure if they did them with the screened covers or not I hadn't seen one of the represses yet. The reason I asked is because they repressed this in that time frame when they were trying to make all their releases look DIY with screened covers and a b/w insert. And they all have that same center label. They must have just used the generic label.

Does it have a screened cover or a the normal cover? That center label looks like the ones Victory used when they were screen printing the covers.

Yep I ordered the out came the wolves album set white w/red splattered really nice looking set . I got it just before or maybe the day after Christmas.

Got this today, completely stoked to play it, put it on the table and my tonearm starts going crazy. Look at the record, warped to all holy hell. I swear at one spot the edge was trying to fold itself over. 1/4 inch fluctuations on the whole edge of the record. Not playable, never will be :/

I had the same problem. If I skipped to freedom bridge it played the beginning would not thought my counterweight or anti-skate was misadjusted but no way. Put a different album on and it was fine. It seems like they didn't use enough vinyl to fill the mold. It's got dimples on one side, which usually means voids from no fill.

So, uh, how does the record sound?

I got one of my color copies, green, and it sounded amazing. I jammed through my stanton 681eee and a Marantz 2240 and it almost brought a tear to my eye it was so good. I actually think they get better as they keep going.
