(if this is over the top please let me know and i'll take it down) Just now realizing we missed our 4/20 release date and many (forgotten) months in the making, the second album from Richmond, Virginia's CANNABIS CORPSE is finally available on vinyl! Tube Of The Resinated sees the band (comprised of members of MUNICIPAL WASTE, BATTLEMASTER and PARASYTIC) upping the ante on their relentless, weed-inspired death metal mayhem. The songwriting is better, the production has moved well beyond the 8-track, and overall this album is about as "professional" as a stoner band can get. To complement appropriately, Robotic Empire has done our best to match the band's hard work with substantial packaging for this LP and are honestly stoked with the results. This is now available in the Robotic Empire Online Store. The full color sleeve is accompanied by an oversized 36" x 12" double-sided full-color poster insert. The artwork for this is over the top: the cover painting is highlighted by evil shamans summoning an unholy portal from the human-body-parts-filled-bong altar. Seriously. The double-sided poster insert has 3 panels of incredible intricacy, where the infamous bud monster's alien world is finally revealed in engrossing detail. The actual vinyl features the craziest shit we've pulled off to date, including a lazer-cut weed leaf that was custom made and inserted into the vinyl itself. The results were a bit trippier than we'd hoped for, but you can still more-or-less tell what's going on: This is the lazer-cut pot leaf (left) and the effect after insertion into the vinyl (right). Looks kinda wild so we're calling it TRIPBUD colored vinyl. Here's all the colors we made (stupid names included) and pressing info: * 200 on CHRONIC * 200 on DANK HAZE * 200 on HEADY RUSH * 300 on TRIPBUD * 1100 on BLACK Accordingly, we've re-printed the CANNABIS CORPSE "Bud Monsters" [aka "Couch Buds] T-Shirts. This also contains art by Barf Callahan, with 2 bud monsters rolling joints out of human beings. A variety of sizes are available: Youth Large ----] Double Extra Large. Along with the CANNABIS CORPSE t-shirts, we also re-printed the bulk of the PG.99 t-shirts we carry in most sizes, and have some badass new shirts coming soon from CAPSULE as well. TORCHE's acclaimed In Return 10"+CD release has recently seen its third pressing, and this time around we decided to let the band members themselves each pick a vinyl color. The other 2 colors were picked by the label, including probably the coolest "planets" variation so far, which kinda looks like a flower. The results turned out pretty sweet overall, and just in time for the band's marathon run of summer touring. Fresh off the road with THE SWORD, they head out again in 2 weeks with BORIS. Tour dates can be found here and for everyone patiently (or impatiently) waiting for Meanderthal on vinyl, we just got word from Hydra Head that all the printwork is now done and assembly will commence over the next couple of weeks. hi folks, this post is made knowing of vinyl collective's posting guidelines... but i'm pretty sure that the vast majority (if not all) of what we're peddling below isn't carried by VC. if anyone in charge is bummed we're posting this though, please let me know and i'll tone it down. that being said... The third installment of our Robotic Empire Limited T-Shirt Series is now available and we're pretty stoked on how this one tuned out. Like the others before it, this comes on an American Apparel brand shirt so its hella comfortable, and also like the others before it, is limited to a one-time run of 50 shirts and features 2 colors of ink. Black and grey are found on this dark "ash" grey t-shirt with woodcut artwork of an old man (probably a wizard) playing a harp in a blacksmith shop or something. Metalheads take note: this two color t-shirt is fairly gloomy, and majorly grim. A somewhat larger photo of this can be seen here. These look killer in person, and the photos don’t really do this justice! Long story short, we're pumped on how this shirt turned out and still have some of the previous ones available as well. While on the subject of clothing, we also re-printed a sweet TORCHE t-shirt that was originally printed as a pre-order only edition when In Return first came out. This John Baizley designed shirt was only available online for a week or so, and the band then printed a run for tour... but now that Meanderthal is out (on CD), they stopped printing these in favor of new designs. yes, that happened... and it was hilarious. just so everyone here knows, which i've said on pretty much any board (that i've seen) where people have asked, the reason why international shipping is so freakin' expensive on the Isis box set isn't due to us jacking up the price for our own good or something, it's because we're ONLY shipping this via UPS. UPS is insanely expensive for overseas customers, but it's the only way to get tracking and insurance to cover our own asses in the event of a PayPal scammer (which there are plenty out there). we're charging the same amount they quote us for a 10lb package to ____ country. with this being such a high-value item, we won't risk getting screwed by scammers and thus, only the UPS shipping option. I wish it wasn't so pricey, but I also wish the USPS had some sort of reliable insurance program as well and flat-out, they don't. anyone who's ever tried to wrangle with the USPS for an insurance claim will know exactly what I'm talking about. so, sorry to the canadians and australians that wanted this but were kept away by the high shipping costs. to the euros, sorry but Conspiracy had these available as well so I'm a bit less sympathetic. anyway hope that clears up the shipping expenses a bit. thanks
