  1. Greetings: I have just aquired a Numark 2000 S TT2 Pro Gold turntable and I am finding that locating the dust cover is like finding "hen's teeth". None of the parts places have the item (though they have it listed and marked as "Out Of Stock") and of course, when you contact them, they politely inform you that the item is no longer being produced. I would like to find one of these as this turntable though suited for DJ application, is going to be used in an audiophile fashion and will be fitted with a headshell and I think Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. If you have a spare cover or a turntable for parts that has a cover, I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Mike Needham
  2. I am just interested to see peoples thoughts on the importance of dust covers - both when playing and not playing records. Edit : I have a dust cover. I was mostly curious about this because I have seen a lot of pictures where people don't have them. Especially on the sort of.. audiophile-y looking tables (rega, pro-ject, etc).
