Hi all, new to the forum and hoping to expand my vinyl interest and collection here over time. Thought I may as well jump straight in with this one as there seems to be a good technical knowledge in this board. I have a portable Philips Party De Luxe - it was very well loved and tended to by the previous owner. I've been good to it too and there is no obvious damage. The built in speaker simply worked one day and not the next - there is a feint sound from records but nothing from the speaker. This is my only record player and I'd love to keep it alive. I have limited knowledge when it comes to repairs so it may be something very obvious - any experience is appreciated!
