Thursday – October 2nd

Sebastian Plano (arg)
::: Piano/cello - strong roots in folk music and tango, enchanted by the resonance of electronic music.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/sebastianplano

Federico Albanese (it)
::: Piano - Albanese's compositions are airy and cinematic, blending classical music, electronics & psychedelia.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/federicoalbanese

Friday – October 3rd

The Haxan Cloak (uk)
::: Fusing a rare talent for classical composition with a passion for exploring serrated electronic and drone textures.
::: Listen: www.soundcloud.com/tri_angle_records/the-haxan-cloak-the-mirror

Demdike Stare (uk)
::: Ethereal dubtechno crossing from cold analog drones to hints of lush Eastern mysticism, inspired by everything from Industrial music to Noise, Free Jazz to House, Techno and Concrete.
::: Listen: www.soundcloud.com/modernlove/sets/demdike-stare-testpressing-001

Petrels (uk)
::: Eclectic electronic sound taking inspiration from speculative science, immense time scales, retro-futurism and personal history.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/petrels

Oval (ger)
::: A true innovator of contemporary audio: delicate, sophisticated pop to brutally torn, electro-acoustic riffing full of angular, colliding guitar sounds.
::: Listen: www.soundcloud.com/oval-official

Rafael Anton Irisarri (us)
::: Multi instrumentalist associated with ambient, drone, post-minimalist and modern classical music. “Irisarri uses his guitar as a strings-like symphonic element to generate atmospheric masses” (textura)
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/rafaelantonirisarri

Ensemble Economique (us)
::: From apocryphal world music and dusty soundtracks to gauzy 4AD-style atmospherics. Trellises of guitar embolden Pyle’s whispered, threadbare lyrics.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/ensembleeconomique

Pan & Me (fra)
::: A display of memorable melodic songwriting with a deep sense for ever changing atmospheres and complex in its use of overlapping instrumentation and extended techniques.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/panme

Saturday – October 4th

James Holden (uk)
::: British techno sorcerer and psychedelic shaman creating electro-acoustic and utterly mesmerising  sound, joined live by drummer Tom Page.
::: Listen: www.soundcloud.com/jamesholden

Greg Haines (uk)
::: Intricate layers of piano and synthesizers with affinity to dense African poly-rhythms. A hazy, analog world of sound.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/greghaines

Bohren & der Club of Gore (ger)
::: The dark-jazz legends. Jazz in its slowest tempos and gloomiest ambience.
::: Listen: www.bohrenundderclubofgore.bandcamp.com/album/piano-nights

Never Sol (cz)
::: Sára’s inimitable husky and soulful voice floating along piano songs based on jazz harmony with a strong sense for haunting melancholic melodies and pulsing beats.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/neversol

Piano Interrupted (uk)
::: With nods to minimalism, film scores and cinematic soundscapes, glitch and ambient, post-rock, neo-classical piano and jazz.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/pianointerrupted

Origamibiro (uk)
::: Audio-visual collective creating performances with video feeds and multi instrumentalism - involving treated books, typewriters, found celluloid, paper and bespoke visual contraptions.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/origamibiro

John Lemke (ger)
::: A blend of prepared piano and field recordings with hand crafted beats and swampy bass lines. Deeply moody and danceable walking on dub-trenched territories.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/johnlemke

Sunday – October 5th

Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra (can)
::: Instrumental band interested in free jazz, community sight-singing, Minimalism and American folkways - still anchored to a punk-rock take on neo-classical and modern music tropes.
::: Listen: www.soundcloud.com/constellation-records/thee-silver-mt-zion-take-away

Ben Frost (au)
::: Fusing intensely structured sound art with militant post-classical electronic music, shape-shifting physical power with immersive melody, concentrated minimalism with fierce, rupturing dark metal.
::: Listen: www.soundcloud.com/benfrost

Moon Zero (uk)
::: Processed organs and laptop compositions originating entirely in churches.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/moonzero

Hauschka (ger)
::: Cinematic melodies full of resonant overtones, bright cheerful keyboard patterns and dark percussive touches, bringing an exciting new perspective to the prepared piano.
::: Listen: www.soundcloud.com/hauschka

The Samuel Jackson Five (no))
::: Norwegian instrumental specialists with a penchant for guitars, trumpets, synthesizers and sweeping soundscapes.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/samueljackson5

The Eye Of Time (fra)
::: An honest soundtrack of life by Marc Euvrie bringing together a minimal mixture of samples, cello elements, electronic programming, loops, drones, piano parts and field recordings.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/theeyeoftime

Franz Kirmann (fra)
::: Strongly influenced by movies with a weakness for walls of sounds and fragile melodies, resulting in a sound between an 80's synthesizer soundtrack and a post-modern electronic record.
::: Listen: www.denovali.com/franzkirmann
