areii Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 I just picked up and Technics SL20 today from craigslist and it works decently except for 45 rpm. The speed is extremely fast where on 33 RPM I have no issues. Second problem is a little hard to describe, sometimes lower notes have a weird sound, not quite a wobble, but the sound just shifts off. Jennyemily Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 If the problem is anything like the one I had on a Soundlab DL-P1R, it's a glitch with the electronic board that controls the pitch adjuster. Somewhere on the turntable there should be two small holes through which you can insert a jeweller's screwdriver and adjust the turntable's speed via a little potentiometer.
