allenh Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 The thinner the oil the better, when the Thorens was made it would have been called light machine oil but there are a few different formulations of it now, have a quick search on ebay for turntable bearing oil and that should throw up a few alternatives. Also make sure you download the manual for your Thorens at the vinyl engine as it will give you the viscosity of the oil they recommend, what to oil and how much to use.
