sawyerjm11
Hello, I was fortunate enough to be gifted a 1972 JVC VC-9 turntable that was brand-new/unopened. I opened it December 2015 and used it for about a year. The table then started to have an issue. I took it to a "specialist" to check it out but he didn't solve the issue. The table seems to run a little slow and sometimes the belt slips and the tunes stop. I picked up a new table as I just want to listen to music. I'm not sure what to do with the VC-9, it is in great shape physically. There aren't any units available online, only manuals. Any idea what it is worth or what I should do with it? Thanks, John
Tardcore
lubricant could very well be crudded up. Not sure why a “specialist” wouldn’t catch that though.
