BitOfAle
Hello Vinyl Collective. I am fairly new to collecting vinyl, and have just recently installed what can be called "display racks" along the walls in my room for vinyl records. As shown in the picture attached, these are placed upright, one by one along the rack. This has created a concern for me, because at the very least, the vinyl jackets are slightly bending in both directions, and at most, this may (according to my limited experience) bend the actual records. Another problem is with vinyl that come in gatefold jackets, which swings out slightly when placed upright and at a tilt. A solution I thought up was inserting some sort of cardboard or paper filler into each jacket along with the vinyl, so that when they are standing upright and at a slight tilt, they would not bulge out. Display Racks l'dlove to get some input on this problem. Thank you for your time.
