Stevengl
I have a collection of 78s from the early 1940s to the 1950s. I know there are modern turntables that can play them but I love antiques and would really love to play these on an older machine. What are some of the best antique turntables out there that work well and efficiently? I’d love one with an wooden case and something as old as the 1930s is even fine with me. I know these can cause excess damage to the records because of the steel stylus. Are any models better than others? Are there adjustments or additions that can be done to make them play safer and better? My budget is around $300. Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!
