cosmonaut
I saw this on the Dischord website not too long ago. I would love to see these shows. Maybe another DC/B-more show is being planned?
kouka
i sure hope so.. somehow i missed the baltimore show they played after DC last time. :-[ it's weird they got back together and did a pretty extensive tour overseas, then played 2 or 3 shows in the states last time. but as long as they play this area at least once, i'll be happy. cosmonaut
I also really want someone to repress the 5 song EP on vinyl. Slowdime is defunct, but I doubt it would be hard for Dischord to get the rights to repress. That is one of my 10 favorite records of all time. Lurid Transversal is good, but Jesus, that EP is phenomenal.

cosmonaut
I know Amanda MacKaye was involved initially. I see her around sometimes, so I'll ask her what's up with the old Slowdime titles. I would also love to get a copy of the first Abilene album. I think some Hoover people were involved in that band. If you like that style, I would recommend their second album, called Two Guns, Twin Arrows. It came out the 54 40 or Fight! label, and I think it's one of the most under-appreciated albums ever. It's still in print on CD; I don't think it was ever pressed on vinyl though.
